As we start a new week of the month, it’s time to gear up for the movies releasing in April week 3 (2023). With some music documentaries, concert films, special anniversary comebacks, action-loaded blockbusters, comedies, drama and nature docu-films in store for us, we can’t help but be hyped for all the titles dropping soon.

Here are the upcoming titles set to release this week – some in theatres, others on OTT platforms.

Tooth Pari

Starring Shantanu Maheshwari, Tanya Maniktala in the lead roles, the upcoming Hindi Netflix movie centres around Roy, the human and Rumi, the vampire. Upon crossing paths, the two individuals from two different worlds are caught up in an impossible love story. Will this be yet another tragic Romeo and Juliet saga, or will they finally get the hang of their happy ever after?

Quasi

Ready to stream on Hulu, the comedy film leads with its case for a hunchbank’s desire to fall in love. However, complications arise when he’s entailed in the vengeful web woven by the Pope and the King of France, each of whom enlist his help to get rid of the other.

Ghosted

Taking a chance to meet someone new is always a huge task, and also and adventure, but it can all fall to pieces, especially in the modern age where supposedly your “the one” can ghost you. In this case, however, when Chris Evans is ghosted by Ana De Armas, he commits to making a grand romantic gesture and takes the leap only to be kidnapped, beaten up and held hostage till the latter finally comes out to rescue hum and reveal her classified secret.

One More Time

Releasing this Friday on Netflix, this Swedish romantic comedy grants Amelia a fateful wish on her 40th birthday to go back to her 18th year in life. Once she turns into her high-school going self in 2002, more regrets pile up as she’s gets stuck in a time loop, living the same day over and over again.

SUGA: Road to D-day

After fellow member J-Hope’s musical documentary, BTS’s Suga is all set to release his official debut solo album D-Day. On the same day as the music release, his musical journey’s cinematic cut will also release on Disney Plus, taking us as well as him on a journey with many stops as the singer is out grasp new inspiring dreams and stories.

A Tourist’s Guide to Love

Coming out this Friday on Netflix, this charming romantic comedy deals with the aftermath of a travel executive’s breakup as she takes on a new undercover assignment to dig into the Vietnamese tourist industry. On this new journey with her tour guide, she discovers romance yet again. Directed by Steven Tsuchida, the movie stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Scott Ly, Missi Pyle, Ben Feldman and others.
