Mission Yozakura Family Episode 7 Review: Taiyo’s Reputation

Today’s episode revolves around Nanao, who also goes on his respective mission but faces some challenges. He is in an evil lab where people have been experimenting with drugs that can annihilate many people. To stop this drug from getting released Nanao makes everyone in the lab fall asleep and eats the medicine himself. His body is not at all normal and has capabilities which go beyond human conditions. He has the ability to neutralise the effects of the pill but as a side effect, he falls asleep for a long time. He needs someone to protect him at that time and this is where our protagonist, Taiyo comes into play.
But in this mission, this is not the only challenge as we get new entries that might be more problematic than they portray. Sadly, the mission does not go as well as planned for Taiyo and he also has to face the repercussions of it. The reason behind his situation is two elite ninjas who, unlike freelance or independent ninjas like the Yozakura. Amongst them, Sui the leader is especially dangerous as he doesn’t care about much of anything.

Things go from bad to worse and Taiyo becomes the reason the Yozakura name gets tarnished. Now it is up to Taiyo to get his reputation back by spying on the infamous spy Sui himself.
Today’s episode was entertaining but again average. The progress of Taiyo has been pretty fast, but at the same time, we see a decent amount of development phase for him. The funny parts do land but it’s nothing that you have not witnessed before.
Rather than two separate stories of different missions, we get a single storyline for this episode and this helps the anime to retail attention better. Taiyo as a character is a fascinating one who readily except any challenge even if it is a grave one, which makes the viewers root for him more than ever.

Verdict
If you like lighthearted comedy with some bits and pieces of romance this anime is great for you. The animation is nice and we also get many interesting characters with each new episode. I liked this episode more than the previous ones as this had a continuous storyline rather than a division in between. Hopefully, you will like this as well.
