Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 24 Recap

Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 25 Review A Sad Parting

After his blooming, Shinzo gains the ability to destroy cells at their core, rendering them useless. As a result, when he strikes Kurosawa, the damaged parts turn into nothing but metal. According to Shinzo, this new ability stems from his fearfulness. His deep fear of weapons that could harm his family drove him to obsessively study them, allowing him to master their nature and protect his loved ones from the very threats he dreads.

Meanwhile, we catch a glimpse of the sinister side of the Tanpopo organization, despite their carefree appearance. Their “seed sowing” project is a horrific scheme aimed at releasing large amounts of Hazakura into the ocean. Once this dangerous element reaches ordinary humans, chaos will erupt, as most people won’t be able to tolerate its effects. This would ignite a brutal “survival of the fittest” scenario, plunging the world into an irreversible catastrophe.

To prevent this, the brilliant hacker Shion works tirelessly to infiltrate the enemy’s system. However, her efforts are disrupted by another tech genius, Chacha. Fortunately, Kengo steps in to support his older sister, even though he’s not primarily an offensive spy. The tide turns in their favor when two more Yozakura siblings experience their bloomings.

Shion’s and Kengo’s new abilities complement each other perfectly. Kengo’s blooming, known as Perfect Assimilation, allows him to fully transform into anyone he desires. Shion’s blooming, called Analyzation, elevates her intellect to supercomputer-like levels, making their combined strengths a formidable force.

Taiyo and Kyoichiro finally reach the main villain and the leader of Tampopo, Kawashita. He tries to manipulate Taiyo into attacking him, but Taiyo stops after finding out that doing so would destroy the whole island. When this plan did not work, Kawashita threatened Taiyo by capturing Nanao somewhere else. Nanao has been trapped by Ai and Mizuki, who must keep the other test subjects from escaping the facility. Mizuki uses his powers to create a huge amount of poisonous gas that can make anyone sleep.

However, what they do not calculate is how the Yozakura family did not come here alone. Backup arrives in the form of police organisation, spy organisation and the Hinagiku organisation. Nanao also gets saved, and he directly tries to battle against Mizuki. Here, we get to know Mizuki’s point of view and the reason behind his support for Tanpopo when he does not seem like an evil man.

Apparently, due to the negligence of the government and some industries, his whole family died, and he too, was on his deathbed. That is when Kwashita came and helped him with Hazakura. Thinking that there is no place in society for him anymore, Mizuki completely shunned society since then. Not only that, we also get to know about the very tragic past of Ai and the reason behind her fear of someone grabbing her head.

In this episode, we also see the blooming of Nanao, which is adapting, and it has a very potent result to it. He can purify anything with his powers, making him an effective healer. However, towards the end, we finally see the true form of power Kawashita and how terrifying he actually is.

Verdict

Today’s episode was again, pretty intense and very entertaining till the end. We do not have many more episodes to go, and it is apparent from the plot that we are very close to the final conclusion. I hope things will be covered properly by then, and we will know more about the mystery behind the Yozakura family.
