The new 16-episode series follows a young job-seeker named Lee Mi-jin, played by Jung Eun-ji. She spent 8 years trying to pass the civil service exam and only got part-time jobs. However, an incident causes her to age into a 50-year-old named Im Sun in the day and rejuvenate back into her 20s in the night.

The episode 16 starts off with Mi-Jin’s parents discovering their daughter changing into Lim Soon when day arrives. Mi-Jin’s mother feels overwhelmed seeing her daughter live the life of her late beloved sister. Then, the scene cuts to Ji-Ung hearing that Mi-Jin has come to the court to testify against Geum-Hwa. This makes him wonder how she has arrived during the daytime when she supposedly should have become Lim Soon.

The scene cuts to Lim Soon, aka Mi-Jin, writing down her bucket list as she believes she will never regain her youth during the daytime. From going to the gym to getting life insurance, Mi-Jin ensures she makes use of her daytime as Lim Soon productively. Mi-Jin’s mom sees the list while she’s asleep and feels bad for her daughter, requesting they see a shaman. However, Mi-Jin, in the body of Lim Soon, states she has tried everything. Ga-Yeong takes Lim Soon out to clear her mind.

Mi-Jin decides to study for the civil exam during the night so she can re-enter the police station, regardless of living as Lim Soon during the daytime. She tries to stay away from Ji-Ung, not wanting him to waste his time with her given she becomes an old woman during the day. Ji-Ung also decides to return to Seoul for work so he can let go of Mi-Jin. One night, Mi-Jin meets Lim Soon, who tells her it is time to leave. Mi-Jin wakes up from her dream and prepares for the day.

The scene cuts to the courtroom, where Ji-Ung wonders how Mi-Jin has come to testify against Geum-Hwa. The viewers then learn that Lim Soon’s soul has left Mi-Jin, allowing her to testify. Geum-Hwa is sentenced to death, bringing peace to all. Mi-Jin pursues her civil exams and aces them. Ga-Yeong gets engaged to Byung-Duk, who moves into Ji-Ung’s place as he has left for Seoul. Ko Won returns to his music career and reminisces about the days he spent with Lim Soon, knowing it was Mi-Jin and cherishing the moments shared with her.

After a few months, Ji-Ung is seen working tirelessly at the Seoul department. His co-worker asks him during lunch to relax, but as expected, Ji-Ung insists on working hard. His co-worker then mentions a new recruit who excels in her work, and we see Mi-Jin enter the station. Ji-Ung and Mi-Jin stare at each other in awe but pretend like they don’t know each other. When Ji-Ung’s co-worker tries to hit on Mi-Jin, she cleverly evades him, making Ji-Ung happy.

Ji-Ung then takes a private moment to ask Mi-Jin out, only to get pricked by the cactus he gifted her. Out at the park, Ji-Ung and Mi-Jin confess their feelings and share a kiss. As they walk under cherry blossoms, Ji-Ung hears Lim Soon’s voice and sees her, while Mi-Jin doesn’t. He thinks he is hallucinating and they continue to walk. The episode ends with Lim Soon smiling at Ji-Ung and Mi-Jin and winking at the camera towards the viewers.
