Hunger Trailer Breakdown

The two-minute and fifteen-second video opens with the lead protagonist inside a small hotel cooking for the customers. An acquaintance of hers holds a serious conversation where he explains that she needs to have more drive and passion for becoming a renowned Chef. He offers her a business card written ‘Hunger’ on it, indicating that it is the name of a hotel.

The scene then shifts to an area where a Chef is running a culinary station. Soon after, she joins the training course under the Chef’s guidance, but it seems she has difficulty keeping up with the teacher’s expectations. However, she repeatedly tries to learn the skills to become an excellent cook.

Various dishes are shown beautifully set on a plate which looks no less than a piece of art. A narration in the background continues from the Chef’s voice, who shares the reality of society, how food is a necessity for the downtrodden and a luxury for the privileged. And to become a world-class cook, one has to provide and impress the richer section.
