Melon Music Awards 2022 is being held today, on November 26, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. The award ceremony is organized by Kakao M through its online music store Melon, and it will be the fourteenth instalment of the event, as well as its first fully offline ceremony since 2019.
In terms of the performing artist line-up, (G)I-DLE, IVE, NewJeans, MONSTA X, TXT aka TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, ATBO, LE SSERAFIM, STAYC, BE’O, BIG Naughty, 10cm and GOMAK BOYS are confirmed to grace their presence at the award ceremony. As for special performances, (G)I-DLE members, Soyeon and Shuhua are also preparing for solo rap and solo dance performances, respectively.
Even the group LE SSERAFIM will perform a large-scale performance that includes Kazuha’s solo stage and what seems to be a runway show. Well, many legendary stages will surely come out of the ceremony, we have curated all the red carpet looks below, which shows what your favourites wore to the event.
Melon Music Awards 2022 Red Carpet Looks
New Jeans
The popular rookie group once again proved that they are different from everyone else. Opting for Y2K fashion in white, with furry boots and accessories. It’s definitely an outfit that everyone can’t pull off but the rookies are owning it completely.

Be’O
Coordinating the black and the white, Be’O opted for black leather trousers with a white shirt and a jacket, matched with white shoes to go with it.
ATBO
Another rookie group of the year kept it simple and classic with a black tuxedo, paired with normal or bow ties. Only one member is seen with a red pocket square.
STAYC
STAYC members paired their blacks with some checkered skirts, tunics and one member is pairing her black dress with a tie. You can see some Y2K influence here as well, with the newsboy hat donned by a member.
Enhypen
Enhypen seems to keep it pretty uniform this year with similar suits to the tie.
LE SSERAFIM
HYBE Labels another group is donning the bodycon dresses and leather skirts. While member Sakura is going for a chic look.
Melomance
This duet group is also seen co-ordinating the colour combinations with each other outfits and keeping it neat.
GOMAK BOYS
This project boy group consists of Ha Hyunsang, Paul Kim, Kim Minseok, Jung Seunghwan, and BIG Naughty. While only Paul Kim’s cutout made it to the red carpet, he is still keeping it up with the theme colours of black and white.
Big Naughty and 10 CM
The two solo singers are keeping it a cool yet casual, like their stage persona. 10CM is pairing his black jacket with ripped denim, while Big Naughty brings in the flashiness with his hip outfit.
IVE
While other groups have followed the same colour/pattern palette, IVE members are channelling their individualistic styles through their outfits.
Lim Young Woong
The popular Trot and Ballad singer has kept it simple with all black outfit and some extra details on his crossbow tie.
Tomorrow X Together
This year TXT is keeping it a casual affair with long overcoats and jackets. Only the eldest member Yeonjun is donning a suit underneath.
(G)I-DLE
Continuing the concept of their latest comeback Nxde, the girl group is bringing the retro style classic yet chic look to the red carpet. The blonde hair colour also gives them an edge over their black outfits.
Monsta X
Compared to other Male artists, Monsta X seems to play with their outfits a bit, instead of going the classic way. Being in line with their group colour, they bring a new look to the carpet with added accessories and a bit of shimmer.
