When it is time for tasting, Billie is the first one to serve her dish. It is Spanish Shellfish Stew and judges absolutely love it because it is so phenomenally good. Aldo’s dish is a Parmigiana and Meatballs and it just hits right with the judges. Tommy presents a Banh Khot and Rick Stein as well as the judges love it!
Mindy’s Satay Ayam is flavourful as is Alvin’s Nasi Lemak. Keyma brings to the table a Fileja alla Nduja and it is a really good dish. Julie’s dish is a Coq au Vin and, although she does not feel confident about her dish, much like Keyma, it is a beautiful one according to the judges. Cioppino by Michael somehow fails to stand out. The fish is a perplexing cook and the basics of the dish are not done right.
Sarah’s dish is a Crab Xacuti. The judges have fun breaking the dish open as it tastes massively good to get the entire table and their clothes messy. Montana’s sweet little Christmas Dinner dish is cooked nicely but seems to lack the essence the judges are looking for in this challenge.
