The Orange team consisting of Julie, Sarah, Billy and Michael, have a wonderful cook. They cooked Potato Fondue, Spiced Fish Curry and Ginger Syrup Cake. The Purple team consists of Aldo, Ali, Billie and Aldwin. The judges gave them feedback that their dishes sounded a bit heavy. Initially, Aldo refuses to change anything in their cook. Later, when the judges and his teammates share the concern again, he decides to change the puree.

Despite adding a change to the puree in their dish, the Purple team falls short of cauliflower puree when the delivery process starts. They mix white beans puree with cauliflower puree to increase the quantity. Their entree, main course, and dessert dishes are Polenta chips, Beef Cheek with cauliflower, white bean puree, and sticky dates pudding. The cook on the Orange team’s dishes was perfect. The Purple team’s main dish had some flaws, but their dessert was the best. Hence, they were safe.

MasterChef Australia Season 14 Episode 23 Recap: Final Thoughts

The Date Night Service Challenge is an interesting concept. However, instead of sending the food in boxes to the couples, it would’ve been nice if the couples were seated in the kitchen or garden area. Seeing the couple relish the delicacies served to them would’ve made the cooks happy.
