Mashle Season 2 Episode 10 Review and Recap – Mash Rushes To Wahlberg

This episode starts with the arrival of our flamboyant magician Ryoh, who was not present at the time of Innocent Zero’s arrival. The moment he realised something bad was going to happen, he rushed towards the competition with Shawn. But it took him too long to travel, which he even jokes about with his travel partner.
Then, suddenly, Shwan freezes midway, and Ryoh realises someone has stopped time. This also proves just how powerful Ryoh is, as he’s the only one who did not get affected by Innocent Zero’s magic other than Wahlberg. When Ryoh arrives at the scene, he witnesses how four students and two divine visionaries were able to handle the situation at the arena, whereas Wahlberg and Innocent Zero himself are nowhere to be found. That is when Mash takes it upon himself to locate the headmaster by just using his legs.
Back at the battle between the two most powerful mages, a fight between space and time is raging on. Wahlberg has the power of space, whereas Innocent Zero has the ability to control time. Their fight is one of the most intense and breathtakingly animated ever.
From this episode, we understand the true meaning of the phrase, “Noblesse Oblige.” Wahlberg really believed in the words of his master and walked on his master’s path. From the time when Wahlberg was a kid, his master, Adam, has been his supporter. He would come to Wahlberg’s room to bother him by providing random animal trivia so that Wahlberg would come to school.
It is only later that Wahlberg understood why his master did that. Adam did not want Wahlberg to feel lonely, and hence, he continued to spend time with him. This also made Wahlberg think about his students and protect them because it is the duty of the strong, to protect the weak.

Innocent Zero, on the other hand, who only thinks about himself, is far too removed from such a noble concept, and hence, he does not care about what his friend from the past believes in. But even though Innocent Zero is very powerful, what he lacks are students who are willing to do anything for their teacher, like Mash and others.
Verdict
This episode was again very entertaining as we saw a great fight ensue between Wahlberg and Innocent Zero. It is very impressive how Mashle manages to incorporate action with comedy and makes the whole thing all the better. We are definitely nearing the most essential part of the series, and hopefully, good will triumph over evil.
