Love Your Enemy Episode 11 Recap

The episode opens with an adorable flashback of toddlers Yun Jiwon and Seok Jiwon in a childhood roleplay game. Seok Jiwon, in full tantrum mode, yells that he won’t marry Yun Jiwon, stomping his little feet and turning red with frustration. Flash forward to the present, and the irony is not lost on them as they sift through old photo albums. When they stumble upon a picture of their childhood “marriage,” they exchange knowing glances, realizing just how much life has come full circle.
Over at his office, Seok Jiwon is in a sulky mood after his father sent movers to pack up his apartment, hoping to lure him back home. In comes Ki-ha, holding a new outfit to cheer him up. Though the proposal didn’t go as planned, Seok Jiwon is surprisingly upbeat as he struts through the school hallways, proudly flexing his engagement ring. However, his excitement is dampened when he notices Yun Jiwon isn’t wearing hers.

She explains she’s trying to avoid unnecessary attention, but Seok Jiwon sulks like a child who just lost his favourite toy. Realizing how much it means to him, Yun Jiwon rushes home to retrieve the ring and reveals it to her grandfather, Yun Jae-ho, who beams with genuine happiness for her.
Meanwhile, Seok Jiwon’s parents decide to confront him at the school about his engagement. Yun Jiwon, unaware of their presence, walks into his office and innocently shows off her ring, only to realize his parents are there. The four sit down for an impromptu discussion, where Yun Jiwon takes charge, professing her love for Seok Jiwon with such sincerity that even his grumpy father, Gyeong-tae, is left speechless. Later, the couple is invited to dinner at Seok Jiwon’s family home.

Gyeong-tae, clearly still sceptical, tries to make Yun Jiwon uncomfortable, but she flips the narrative by recounting a childhood memory where Gyeong-tae’s softer side showed through. Once again, Gyeong-tae is caught off guard and silently eats his meal, his tough exterior cracking ever so slightly. Back at school, the staff room is abuzz when Su-a notices Yun Jiwon’s ring, quickly making it the hot topic of the day. Ji-hye watches from a distance, smiling with quiet approval. Mun-su, too, notices the ring and, satisfied with what he’s pieced together, walks away with a sense of closure.
Later, he meets Seok Jiwon to thank him for saving him on the rooftop and to offer his congratulations. Ji-hye and Mun-su, both having harboured feelings for one of the Jiwons, finally let go, choosing to support her happiness instead. Meanwhile, at home, Jae-ho shares some wise words with Mun-su about overcoming unrequited love, and easing the younger man’s heart. The family dinner takes an interesting turn when Yun Jiwon shares a secret story from her childhood.

She reveals how Gyeong-tae once helped her after she fell in the rain, showing a kindness that belies his gruff demeanour. This memory leaves everyone, including Gyeong-tae, momentarily speechless. After dinner, Gyeong-tae asks Seok Jiwon to stay at home, but Seok Jiwon refuses. Outside, Yun Jiwon advises him to listen to his father, emphasizing the importance of family. Gyeong-tae overhears this and, touched by Yun Jiwon’s thoughtfulness, begins to have a change of heart.
The next day, Ki-ha stumbles upon some troubling discrepancies in the school’s financial accounts. Together, he and Seok Jiwon discover that Gyung-hoon has been swindling money. Aware of the brewing storm, Gyung-hoon tries to manipulate Gyeong-tae, hoping to gain his sympathy. But Gyeong-tae, furious at the betrayal, reprimands Gyung-hoon for cheating Jae-ho, the man who trusted him like a son. Unapologetic, Gyung-hoon leaves the office, leaving Gyeong-tae and Seok Jiwon to deal with the fallout.

Meanwhile, Jae-ho decides to sell his property to gather funds for Yun Jiwon’s wedding. However, during a visit to a real estate agent, he learns that Gyung-hoon owns the land surrounding an upcoming golf course and stands to make a fortune. Feeling betrayed, Jae-ho arranges to meet Gyeong-tae at a restaurant but leaves abruptly when his emotions overwhelm him. Gyeong-tae finds him outside and, alarmed by his deteriorating health, rushes him to the hospital after he collapses. There, Jae-ho regains consciousness and, despite his initial confusion, scolds Gyeong-tae for allowing Gyung-hoon to manipulate him. It’s during this confrontation that Gyeong-tae realizes the full extent of Gyung-hoon’s treachery.

Later, Seok Jiwon uncovers a shocking connection between Gyung-hoon and the bankruptcy of Yun Jiwon’s father’s company. Evidence reveals that Gyung-hoon, not Ho-seok, was the one responsible for the financial ruin. Determined to clear Ho-seok’s name, Gyeong-tae and Seok Jiwon decide to expose the truth but agree to keep it from Jae-ho to spare him further heartbreak.
Mun-su, now aware of Jae-ho’s health condition and memory lapses, discreetly tracks his whereabouts via GPS. When Jae-ho misses a medical appointment, the nurse calls Gyeong-tae, who learns that Jae-ho listed him as his guardian, believing him to be his late son, Ho-seok. Deeply moved, Gyeong-tae rushes to Jae-ho, feeling the weight of his responsibility.

At home, Jae-ho, still in denial about Gyung-hoon’s actions, tries to defend him. Frustrated, Gyeong-tae finally reveals the truth about Gyung-hoon’s betrayal, including his role in Ho-seok’s downfall. Enraged, Jae-ho storms off to confront Gyung-hoon. Seok Jiwon and Yun Jiwon, informed by Gyeong-tae about Jae-ho’s intentions, frantically search for him with Mun-su’s help.

Jae-ho arrives at Gyung-hoon’s house and uncovers incriminating documents, as well as a bracelet belonging to his late son. The sight of the bracelet triggers a painful memory, and Jae-ho breaks down. When Gyung-hoon arrives, Jae-ho confronts him, demanding to know how he obtained the bracelet. A flashback reveals that Gyung-hoon had found Ho-seok alive after an accident but chose not to help him, taking the bracelet instead. As Jae-ho accuses Gyung-hoon of murder, the confrontation escalates. Gyung-hoon attacks Jae-ho, leaving him injured as Seok Jiwon and Yun Jiwon rush to the scene, their hearts pounding with fear.
