Love is Blind Season 6 Reunion: All the Tea About This Season, Discussed!

Drama llamas, this season has been messy and we have been waiting eagerly for the past week to get the tea on what happened this season. However, will hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey ask the right questions this time and bring us the tea that we want and deserve? Well, we bring it to you right here!

Love is Blind Season 6 Reunion Recap

Love is Blind Season 6 Reunion

After a little dazzling welcome to the sets, the Lacheys introduce us to the past and present participants who have entertained us and made their lives a little messier through this experiment. After a little chitchat with Giannina Gibelli, who is currently having a baby with her partner, we dive straight into the mess that was Jeramey this season. He is with Sarah Ann and they are living together and I must say, the Tiktok sleuths have not disappointed us this season at all. Everyone who has been patiently following the show already had an inkling about that and it was cemented by Jeramey.

The Lacheys ask him about his previous engagement and he accepts the rumours to be true, but, as with his announcement on Instagram, mentions that everyone knew about it during filming. Laura (on Zoom) and Sarah Ann both agree that he had disclosed that information previously and we move on to the location fiasco and Jeramey gives a wishy-washy answer that’s not really an answer and says that he doesn’t know why he lied. Laura mentions that had she not woken up, she would’ve never known the truth because Sarah Ann said the exact same lie to everyone.

Jeramey continues to lie about what happened, even though Laura mentions that he never came to her and said anything about what happened and in between Sarah Ann starts to fight with Laura as well, resulting in Jessica fighting with her. Laura calls both of them disgusting and mentions being blindsided by Jeramey when he suddenly wants to break up with her after one conversation with Sarah Ann.

We see unseen footage of Sarah Ann and Laura talking at the lakeside and the former opens up to Laura about the message that she sent Jeramey and apologises to her for it. Laura warns her that he has been flaky after the pods and to be careful. In the end, Jimmy comes up in conversation when Laura says that Jeramey didn’t want to look as bad as Jimmy and the Lacheys ask Jimmy to elaborate on his feelings.

Jimmy talks about having a tough time deciding in the pods and wanting support from the guys and Jeramey tells him that he can sleep better knowing that he is having a better than Jimmy. The latter mentions feeling disappointed and Jeramey apologises to Jimmy, although the latter seems to not care about him for the time being. We then move on to AD’s conversation with Sarah Ann at the lakeside and the Lacheys ask her about her thoughts and AD tells everyone that the apology is null and void because she still pursued him regardless.

The hosts ask Sarah Ann her feelings after getting an icy reception from the women at the lakeside and she mentions that she doesn’t talk to any of the women and Chelsea chimes in that although she doesn’t follow the women, she definitely follows all the men, making everyone in the audience gasp! Jessica mentions that although everyone’s feelings are valid, both of them should’ve handled the situation more respectfully. The Lacheys ask Jeramey whether he has met the others outside the pods and Chelsea mentions that whenever they have met, Jeramey mentions that they are always broken up. Jeramey mentions that they are fighting to be together everyday through the ups and downs so it’s a struggle everyday.

Eventually, Laura leaves after mentioning that she is dating someone now and apologising profusely to AD and Clay for the bean dip comment.

We then meet Trevor, and we get right into the texts that made everyone hate Trevor from loving him overnight. Trevor chokes at first and then mentions that he was not exclusively dating her and went on this show to try something new out although the woman in the chats was his type. Nick Lachey calls out the mess that Trevor’s answer was and Trevor stumbles over his words and calls himself toxic. Chelsea doesn’t say anything and mentions that she had an intuition in the pods without knowing why but she knows why now. Brittany calls his behaviour disrespectful. Trevor tries to run off from the stage but everyone rakes him over the coals for not being respectful and truthful.

We then move on to AD and Clay and what happened after the wedding. AD opens up about her feelings and how tough it was to watch the episodes back again and Clay agrees with her and mentions apologising to her family for disrespecting them. Nick asks Clay whether he would’ve done things differently if he had the chance and Clay says a lot of nothing and says that he is doing therapy to better himself and calls her the love of his life before saying that his decision was a mistake. AD, however, is unhappy with the answer and doesn’t answer whether or not she would date him again. Clay, however, mentions that he would date her again and cries when she calls him out.

They also talk about Clay and his father as well as Clay’s parents’ conversation and AD mentions that watching it contextualised a lot of things and that she didn’t want to be his mother any in way. Clay mentions that although they had issues, his parents took care of their kids best and he went to therapy to not take the baggage of their marriage with him. They also talk about the apology that his mother told his father to make and Clay mentions that the apology has happened in his own way and that he has taken Brett’s example to be better as a husband.

Brett opens up about his experience with his family as well and talks about his own doubts and problems while going through the experience himself and mentions that it is humbling to hear Clay say that. We catch up with Brett and Tiffany and the latter mentions travelling the world together and settling down in Portland.

We then move on to questions from the audience and asked by the former cast members. The first question is to Jessica and she is asked about Autumn’s (her daughter) reaction to all of this – she mentions that although her daughter has met all the cast members, she hasn’t seen the show in its entirety. Also, it has been an eye-opening moment for Autumn since she has never seen Jessica being so vulnerable. Gigi asks Johnny and Amy whether condoms were an option or not and Johnny mentions not knowing much about birth control and they having a lot of conversations to decide on something that they both are comfortable with.

Alexa asks Chelsea whether she thinks the conversation that Jessica and Laura had about Jimmy in the bar and she mentions that it did hurt a little and that it was disrespectful although the two women are now on good terms and Jessica calls her words absent-minded and agrees that it was disrespectful as well. Tifanny asks Sarah Ann whether or not Jeramey shares his location with her, and the two of them laugh and agree that he does so willingly.

Micah asks Jimmy what his friend thinks about Chelsea telling the world her secret and he looks annoyed about the topic still and mentions that his friend didn’t deserve it and that they are unhappy with him. Nick asks the rest of the cast about it and Micah mentions that although it should’ve have come up, the experience is so overwhelming that sometimes it’s important to tell it at the moment and how it is. However, both Chelsea and Jimmy agree that although it was an important conversation, it shouldn’t have come up in that fashion and she apologises to him again.

Nick asks Jimmy whether that was a defining moment in their relationship and he agrees and says that he should’ve ended it right then but he dragged it out because they really loved each other and it was difficult to do so. Nick asks the cast what their perception of the relationship was in real-time and AD mentions that knowing Chelsea in real life, it was difficult to watch her insecurities be highlighted in such a horrible manner. Vanessa Lachey talks to Jessica and asks him about the conversation at the lakeside and the former mentions that although they don’t have chemistry, Jimmy has a part of her that she might never get back. Jimmy agrees and mentions that feelings were complicated and wishes to never be told by two women that they love him at the same time.

They discuss more on their relationship now, and Jessica mentions that although she thought that they were friends and she had stood up for Chelsea and Jimmy after the episodes came out, she was disappointed in him after the interview that Jimmy did recently came out. Jessica comes with receipts and asks him why he would say stuff like that and Jimmy attacks him with odd things while Jessica continues to disagree and we get receipts from the production team that are piping hot. It also proves what Jessica has been saying for so long.

We move on to Chelsea comparing herself to Megan Fox and she says that she regrets saying it because it was a silly comment that burned everything down. Chelsea mentions that she is proud of how she has handled it and gives herself grace. After watching Zac and Bliss’s baby shower, we also talk about Alexa and Brennon’s baby news. Alexa then asks Brittany and Kenneth about whether got the craving that they were looking for. Brittany answers that question with grace, essentially boiling down to the fact that it was a choice that they both made and that they are happy with their decisions.

We move on to Kanneth’s phone incident and he mentions that he truly was just working and that he was committed to his work and loves his work. They move on to his lukewarm response at the breakup and he mentions that everyone processes things differently and although he didn’t break down in front of the camera, the emotions came to him later. In the present, Brittany mentions that although they are not in a relationship anymore, they do share a great bond and talk regularly and are now friends.

Moving on to Matthew and him two-timing two women, and we see the receipts of him saying the same thing to two different women and AD mentions that it is odd that he used a very intimate detail about her life and used that to his advantage. She also mentions that she met Matthew after the show and that she went on two dates. On the first date, he apologised to her thoroughly and on the second date he cooked her dinner but in the end, things fizzled out because they were on different planes.

Izzy and Micah announce that Jessica, Izzy and Micah will join Perfect Match for the next season.

Love is Blind Season 6 Reunion Review

Love is Blind Season 6 Reunion

What a mess this season has been but I think the Lacheys have finally taken feedback and asked some good questions this season that have been nothing but entertaining. We discuss all of our burning questions and bring forth everything that we saw on the internet and although I feel like we didn’t dive deep enough into some of the topics that we brought up, I think we still did well. The thing that I got the most entertainment out of this season is the internet sleuths who have brought some piping hot tea over the course of the past few weeks.

The biggest disappointment was Trevor who takes no responsibility for the things that he has done and only says he doesn’t know why he did what he did. What a disappointment. I loved everyone’s reactions to the mess, especially the previous season’s participants. I also enjoyed everyone taking accountability and although Jimmy was absolutely a disappointment, it was also weird that Chelsea didn’t comment on her odd behaviour throughout the show. Of course, no one needs to answer anyone for their mental health struggles but a comment would’ve been great.

All in all, a better reunion than the previous seasons’.
