BTS’ Jimin and ARMYs are over the moon as earlier he was awarded Like Crazy 1st Win after officially debuting as a soloist. The artist took away the trophy on March 29, 2023, for his title track from the mini-album Face, which was released previously this month. Apart from Like Crazy, the album contains five b-side songs, including the English version of the winning track.
Music Bank is a South Korean music show that features the new album and song releases by South Korean pop artists. Multiple talented artists participated in today’s episode to promote their respective music. Many groups and solo artists were nominated; however, the final battle was between Jimin and JYP Entertainment’s girl group NMIXX. With 9855 points to NMIXX’s 6117 points, the artist took home his first-ever music show trophy for his solo song.
Besides being this the artist’s first win for his solo track, this is his third win as a soloist. He first won the music show trophy for his collaboration song with BIG BANG’s Taeyang, Vibe, and his second win was for his pre-release track from his mini-album, Set Me Free pt. 2. The recent win marks his third music show award overall.
The global star instantly took to Twitter to celebrate the win. In a heartfelt post, he thanks ARMYs for always being by his side and sending their undying love and support. He also shares pictures of himself holding the grand trophy. Additionally, Jimin performed the song for the first time in the music show.

The singer’s most anticipated mini-album was released on March 24, 2023. The album consists of a total of six songs, including the title track: Face-off, Interlude: Dive, Like Crazy, Alone, Set Me Free Pt. 2 and Like Crazy (English Version). The fandom took to Twitter to congratulate the artist. Within a few minutes, the topic under his name started to trend worldwide, proving his stardom and influence around the world.
The BTS member has also actively participated in the production and contributed to the lyrics for the upcoming album. Moreover, the song was well-received both internationally and domestically. It secured the top spots upon its release in the South Korean charts like Melon, Bugs, Genie etc. Moreover, it has gained 21 million streams on Spotify since its release and has garnered 26 million views on Youtube so far.
