Lakhan Leela Bhargava Episode 3 Recap and Review: Directed by Abhay Chhabra and written by Faiz Ahmad, Pooja G, Gibran Noorani, Saurabh Tewari, and Nayan Rathod, the new Jio series follows the life of a lawyer struggling to get a case and shine. The series stars prominent actors like Ravie Dubey, Akshay Joshi, Ariah Agarwal, Mohit Chauhan, Bhuvnesh Mann, Sonali Sachdev, Sanvikaa and more.

Lakhan Leela Bhargava Plot
Lakhan is a skilled lawyer who fails to get cases to work on since he is highly empathetic and has negative talk going around him. Apparently, he is the illegitimate child of a famous lawyer Mohan Shandiliya. Due to this, his half-brother Neeraj Shandiliya is on the rise, and Lakhan is left to face the war in court. When Lakhan gets his first case, he is pulled off his possible victory due to the problems around his name. Will Lakhan fight and show that irrespective of being the famous lawyer’s half-son, he’s still capable of standing alone?

Tipu and Mulayam mention that Vishal is the killer with all the evidence they’ve found, but Lakhan’s perspective has a different story. He explains that if Vishal killed his brother Mukesh why would he get inside the taxi and leave Preeti stuck? He states various other reasons as well, making the two friends understand that their assumption might be wrong.
Just then, Sakshi comes to the cafe and yells at Lakhan for writing negative words on the cake she bought for Mohan Shandiliya. Lakhan, however, makes light of the situation, making her leave out of frustration. Dinky comes inside with a list of calls made by Vishal, and they all find he’s had a regular conversation with Preeti.
The next day, Lakhan enquires Subaash, Preeti’s husband, regarding her possible affair with Vishal. Subaash acts naively, raising Lakhan’s suspicions. He then visits Preeti at the jail along with Subaash and talks about Vishal to her. Here, he notices Subaash clenching his teeth. On the day of the hearing, Lakhan starts by questioning Subaash on the stand, making Preeti furious.
He tells the story of Preeti and Vishal’s affair, causing the people in the court to wonder why he is against his own client. Then, he somehow pulls another stunt and makes Subaash give in and agree that he killed Mukesh. This statement shocks everyone. Lakhan puts pressure on Subaash to reveal his partner in the plan, and he tells that Mukesh’s wife Mamta is the one who arranged this plan.
When everyone starts to panic, Lakhan proves with details that there wasn’t any affair between Vishal and Preeti, but Subaash has always thought that there is one and tried to pull his wife’s name down. Since Mamta was mad at her husband for passing down his wealth to his younger brother Vishal, she wanted to blame the brother for her husband’s death so she can take the money.
Mamta has previously removed Vishal’s gold ring and has asked Subaash to throw it inside the taxi purposely to make the investigators think that Vishal is the murderer. After all the explanations and evidence, Lakhan states that Subaash chose him as their lawyer not because he wanted to save his wife but because he thought a rookie lawyer will fail. He proudly exclaims about his skills and closes the case.
The judge convicts Subaash and Mamta as guilty, and Preeti as innocent. Preeti thanks Lakhan and gives a death glare at her husband and Mamta. Outside the court, Lakhan’s mother and friends come in with a music band to celebrate his first case’s victory. Looking at them happily dancing, Neeraj tells his co-lawyers that this should be the last victory of Lakhan. Mohan Shandiliya also drives by and sees Leela and Lakhan standing proudly and looking at him with fury.

Lakhan’s ability to notice the surroundings and analyse people’s behaviour is key to showing how elevated he is. Unlike others who assume, based on the story they hear, Lakhan tends to check the person in front of him and read their body language because, usually, people who lie have a habit attached to it. When he previously heard Preeti asking the cops not to kill a cockroach, he understood that Preeti is innocent. When he carefully observed Subaash’s moves regarding his wife, he pictured something off.
The writers have done a brilliant job of adding such traits to Lakhan’s character and connecting the story well. The first case, as expected, had a victorious ending that made a lot of sense. Ravie Dubey is portraying the agony of a skilled lawyer being put down again and again for his past, fantastically.
Never did we expect Sonali Sachdev will be the best cast for the mother’s role because she looks so young. Yet she pulls it off effortlessly with the way she naturally acts along with Ravie Dubey, giving him motherly care as well as some spanks now and then.
Such a great plot and great cinematography. The cafe’s set looks good; the courtroom isn’t too majestic but rather simple and realistic. Sakshi and Lakhan seem to be having a hate relationship but it clearly shows that they’re going to be head over heels soon.
