The 1st Korea Grand Music Awards is set to make its debut, bringing together some of the most popular K-pop acts. Earlier this year, Ilgan Sports, the creators of the prestigious Golden Disc Awards, announced the launch of this new ceremony to honour mainstream artists who have won the hearts of fans both within Korea and around the globe.
On August 28, the KGMA 2024 organizing committee revealed its MCs and 1st lineup of performers, generating excitement among fans. Leading the ceremony as MCs will be NewJeans’ Hanni and actress Nam Ji-hyun, known for her role in the series Good Partner. Their charm and charisma are expected to set the tone for a memorable event.

aespa, celebrated as the IT girl group of the 4th generation, recently released their new album “Armageddon,” which has been breaking records and reinforcing their reputation as leaders of the K-pop scene. Known for their distinctive blend of virtual and real-world concepts, aespa is expected to deliver a groundbreaking performance.
ZEROBASEONE, one of the frontrunners of the 5th generation, has already shown their star potential despite their relatively recent debut. Their fourth mini-album, “Cinema Paradise,” has been topping charts and establishing them as a force to be reckoned with.
