Kohrra Twitter Reactions: Barun Sobti’s Punjabi Crime Thriller’s Dark Genius Reels in Endless Streams of Praise

Netflix’s latest Hindi crime thriller has dropped and the Kohrra Twitter Reactions are proof of just how much people are liking the show. Featuring Suvinder Vicky as Balbir Singh and Barun Sobti as Amarpal Garundi, both police officers, the series deals with the investigation into the murder of an NRI whose body is recovered a few days before his wedding for which he had arrived in India from the UK. Her close ones thus turn into suspects and as the investigation progresses, secrets buried deep come to light.

Barun Sobti’s last venture was Asur (on JioCinema) which also got great praise. Kohrra serves as another addition to his portfolio as an actor of substance. However, it is this Asur that seemed to have given him his much-needed push to grab the eyes of the audience as well as creators. As for Suvinder Vicky, after his time in the Punjabi industry, he arrived in Hollywood with Udta Punjab.

We will also see the return of a very familiar face after a very long time i.e. Rachel Shelley. The last time we saw her was in the Hindi film Lagaan (2001) wherein she played the role of Elizabeth Russell. The show has been written by Sudip Sharma. and directed by Randeep Jha.
