King the Land Episode 8 Recap

Gu Won’s trickery leaves the prince speechless while Sa-rang is amused by the jealousy that he feels when she is with other men. Later, the trio return back to the hotel and Gu Won prepares a special treat for the employee who worked so hard. The next day, the prince prepares a party before his departure where he proposes to Sa-rang with a ring.

Gu Won too is called to the party as a waiter to serve the two, but is infuriated when he sees this. He immediately tries to intervene but Sa-rang stops him and rejects the prince herself. The three then share a cheerful moment together and say their goodbyes the next day.

Later, Gu Won is praised for the service provided to the prince and is given the responsibility to organise their 100th year anniversary which infuriates Hwa-ran. Gu Won then meets with Sa-rang after a nightmare in which he sees her going away with the prince. He finally ends up at a sauna with Sa-rang and her friends and takes part in their trickery to increase sales.

The two then suggest Gu Won confess to Sa-rang soon and he takes up on their advice by preparing a special dinner for Sa-rang in the upcoming weekend. While the dinner soon takes an unexpected turn, the two end up sharing a passionate kiss.
