King the Land Overview

King the Land (킹더랜드) is a rom-com Kdrama that brings the story of an heir and an employee who works at one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Lim Yoon-a (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members.

The drama brings the story of the heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story.

Lee Jun-ho was last seen on The Red Sleeve as Yi San / King Jeongjo, while Yoona played audience-favourite Go Mi-ho in 2022’s hugely popular Big MouthKing the Land takes over the jTBC’s Saturday-Sunday 22:30 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Doctor Cha.

Netflix’s synopsis of the show reads: “Amid a tense inheritance fight, a charming heir clashes with his hardworking employee who’s known for her irresistible smile — which he cannot stand.”

King the Land Episode 8 Prediction

Gu Won’s jealous behaviour is caught by Sa-rang after he replaced the prince at the wedding experience event. Later, the prince organises an event for Sa-rang and Gu Won cannot stop fearing that she might leave him. Meanwhile, Gu Won’s interest in the company irks Hwa-rang and the former makes it clear that he is now going to go head-on against her behaviour towards the employees.

Meanwhile, Gu Won has been advised to face his relationship with Sa-rang and give it a lable. Will Gu Won be able to ask Sa-rang out officially?

King the Land Episode 7 Recap

Gu Won finds out about the jealousy in Sa-rang’s heart and soon extinguishes it with his words after which he asks her on a date. The following day, Sa-rang is made to sell pity in front of the media while showing her gratefulness to the hotel and Hwa-ran for saving her life. However, seeing Gu Won at the scene, Sa-rang is unable to stop herself from thanking him as well.

Later, Gu Won is given the task to get the Arab prince to stay at the King Hotel instead of the First Royal. Assuming this to be an impossible task, Hwa-ran throws it on Gu Won only to later be surprised when he manages to get the prince to King Hotel. However, what she does not know is that the prince is his acquaintance and has made him sign a contract before agreeing to stay there.

Upon his arrival, the prince sees Sa-rang and is mesmerised by her beauty. Thus, he decides to spend as much time with her as possible which infuriates Gu Won who also decides to stick to them. Later, at a historical palace which the trio visit on the prince’s demand, the prince sees an ancient wedding experience event taking place and asks Sa-rang to take part in it with himself.

Gu Won hears this and tries to stop them but fails and thus decides to take matters into his own hands. Thus, when Sa-rang sees the face of her groom, she sees Gu Won in front of her.
