Disclaimer

The Apple TV+ thriller Disclaimer is based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Renée Knight. The plot revolves around a journalist, Catherine Ravenscroft who comes across a novel that includes her deepest and darkest secrets that she thought no one knew. The horrified journalist then goes through a journey of discoveries which unveil long-hidden things that begin to surface.

Earlier this year, Jung Ho-yeon was set to play the character Kim in Disclaimer. Kim is a hard-working and ambitious woman who is sure that working for Catherine will bring her on the road to success. The release date for the series is yet to be confirmed.

The Governess

Earlier this April, Jung Ho-yeon’s agency Saram Entertainment confirmed her role in the upcoming Hollywood movie The Governess. Ho-yeon is set to star alongside Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve in the lead role. The film is based on a 2018 novel of the same name by French writer Anne Serre. According to the Deadline, the story revolves around “three rebellious governesses who upend the household they work in.”

While the release date is yet to be confirmed, the plot and cast have already garnered the attention of many around the world. And Squid Game fans are sure to not miss seeing their beloved star’s Hollywood debut and how she takes over their hearts once again.

Squid Game Season 2

Last but definitely not the least is the upcoming sequel of one of the biggest series on Netflix- Squid Game. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is already working on the next part of the series and seems to be pointing at a certain comeback. The director pointed to the probability of Jung Ho-yeon’s return as her twin sister or maybe something else. We don’t know, but we would all love to see her come back.

Squid Game follows the story of hundreds of indebted contestants who go through a series of children’s games to win a very tempting prize. However, the games are not easy and they have to play with their lives at stake.
