Netflix has released the official trailer for Island of Sea Wolves, its upcoming nature documentary about the wilderness of Vancouver Island, Canada. The documentary will be narrated by Will Arnett and directed by Jeff Turner and Chelsea Turner. While James Honeybourne serves as the executive producer for the project.
The breathtaking footage of the trailer and the documentary is shot by award-winning cinematography Maxwel Hohn. Who shot both the underwater and aerial shot, that captures the scenic beauty of the Islands. Moreover, local filmmakers were also attached to the project.

The one-minute and fifty-seven-second trailer start off with the introduction of Vancouver Island in Canada, which is covered mostly in a thick rain forest. The ocean surrounding the Island contains many forms of underwater species. Furthermore, the documentary provides a glimpse of it all but is mainly centred around the dominant species of the Island-Sea Wolves.
The name of the Island (and the documentary) itself derive from this species of Wolf. They are unique in nature and are only found in the pacific coast of Canada, where they share the rainforest belt along with other habitats.

The documentary will feature the extraordinary capabilities of these wolves, that differentiate them from the rest of their cousins. These sea wolves can swim like the otters and sustain on a fish-centric diet, much similar to the bears of the rainforest.
Notably, the documentary will take a first-person approach to provide an intimate look at the natural predators. It will be divided into three aspects- Land, air and the sea. Moreover, Cedar the wolf for the land footage, Spiro the Eagle for capturing the aerial shots, and Sky the sea otter will be responsible for the magnificent underwater revelations.
The scenic natural beauty of the Netflix documentary Island of Sea Wolves will be layered with a voiceover from Canadian-American actor and comedian Will Arnett. Who, is known for starring in popular shows and movies like Arrested Development, Blades of Glory and Semi-Pro. Moreover, Arnett has also voiceover for several hit projects including Bojack Horseman, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Despicable Me, and Batman in the Lego movies.

The filmmaking duo of Jeff Turner and Chelsea Turner have captured the wildlife of Canada, in their previous works. In 2019, the duo produced the IMAX documentary “Great Bear Rainforest”, which revolved around the natural preserve, pertaining to the northern coast surrounding Vancouver Island.
