Who Killed Santa? A Murderville Murder Mystery Plot/Synopsis

The official Netflix description of the show reads:

Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) is back and this time, the case is critical. Along with his two celebrity guest stars, Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph, he is on a mission to figure out…who killed Santa?

The plot of the comedy show centres on Detective Terry Seattle, played by Will Arnett, who solves impossible criminal cases in his style. He teams up with celebrity guests for each case, where they solve the cases and bring justice. This time he is teaming up with Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph.

But the catch of the show is that they are not given a script. The entire cast is unaware of what will happen next, and their reactions are purely made up at that point in time. This is what makes the show stand out from the rest.

The show’s trailer, which is approximately a minute long, gives us a brief overview of the special episode. Jason and Terry Seatle are seen going to the mall, where they witness a gruesome crime. Santa Clause is dead in front of their eyes. As they look at the dead body, they realise that they have another crime to solve. With Maya also joining them, the trio get busy solving the mystery.
