iNumber Number Jozi Gold Ending Explained: The South African movie directed by Donovan Marsh, who is well-known for his hit pictures Avenged (2013) and Hunter Killer (2018), has once again produced a hit movie starring Deon Lotz, Noxolo Dlamini, Fana Mokoena, Presley Chweneyagae, S’Dumo Mtshali, Clementine Mosimane, Bongile Mantsai and others. The Zulu language movie runs for 1 hour and 53 minutes, available also in the English dubbed format.

When two police officers, Chili and Shoes, try to track down a gold heist, one of the cops gets too close to the underground gang and has to make a critical choice between choosing to save the gang or work for the law system.

Chili and Shoes plan to bring down the Hyena Man for all the gold corruption he’s been causing. The duo execute a perfect plan and somehow miss death and arrest the criminal. However, since the gold they retrieve is made of iron, the criminal gets released. This pushes Chili to lose his cool because every time he arrests Hyena Man, he is let loose due to his power. Chili quits his job and decides to lead a normal life.

But thanks to Shoes, and the orphanage priest, Chili joins the defense again as he owes the former. Later, Brigadier engages the two professional officers Chili and Shoes to handle the gold heist along with Colonel. When Chili goes undercover and joins with the gold heist gang he uncovers that they’ve been stealing gold to provide for the needy. This makes Chili cut his ties with the cops and work with the gang. Chili explains the reason behind ditching the defense to Shoes but the latter states that the gang members are still thieves.

Chili and Shoes depart and proceed with their own terms. Since Chili looks uncanny to a big gold criminal, the gang decides to execute a plan to swindle the upcoming gold import. As they prepare, the cops get a hint about their plans from the Hyena man. Brigadier executes her own selfish plan to steal the gold and kill the cops.

All this while Brigadier was letting Hyena out because he gives her gold and provides other needs. And so for one last time, Brigadier who aims for a bigger fortune joins hands with Hyena and persuades him to give her a hint about the upcoming gold heist. Initially, he denies but Brigadier threatens him severely, making him reveal the whole plan.

On the day of execution, Chili changes the plans due to his cop instinct. He moves back to their factory making Brigadier’s plan flop. The cops also arrive at the spot and stop the vile plan of Brigadier. Chili and his gang escape with the gold but later realise that it’s fake and that the Hyena Man has played vile. When they return to the factory, they figure the dead corpse of the mother and mourn over her.

To seek revenge, Chili kills the Hyena Man. Meanwhile, Shoes handles Brigadier and shoots her in the leg. After that, Shoes meets with Chili and let the gang go free. Chili stays back with Shoes and requests the gang to escape with the gold and the mother’s corpse. Then, Shoes and Chili go to their orphanage and give the priest one block of gold so that he can build the school.

Chili gets arrested and imprisoned for the gold heist and the murder of Hyena Man. Brigadier also gets sentenced to prison for misusing her police officer power. In the end, Brigadier calls for Chili at the prison and tells him about her breakout plan. She asks whether Chili wants to escape along with her and the girls. Chili simply looks at them and the movie ends leaving the viewers to interpret.
