Inspector Avinash Episode 7 Review: Directed by Neeraj Pathak, the new Jio Cinema cop thriller stars Randeep Hooda in the lead role as the STF cop who is on a risky mission. On May 18, 2023, two episodes premiered, and from then on, every day, a new episode will air. The series is produced by Abdul Aziz Makani, Janardan Pandey, Nishith Verma, Krishan Choudhary, and Neeraj Pathak.
The main cast includes Randeep Hooda as Avinash Mishra, Rajneesh Duggal as Ahlawat, Abhimanyu Singh as Devi, Ayeesha S. Aiman as Nandini, Bidita Bag as Amrita, Urvashi Rautela as Poonam Mishra, Ali Quli Mirza as Ganesh Barqat, Rahul Mittra as Jagjeevan Yadav, Sohit Soni as Pappu and other notable actors. Each episode’s runtime is around 45 minutes, and they are available in Hindi, Tamil, and other Indian languages.

Avinash feels disturbed after failing his promise to return the child safely. He goes to the police station, assembles his team, and commands them to drop every other case and focus on finding Babloo Pandey only. Meanwhile, Rafiq’s brother Imran becomes Sheikh and Devi’s ally. He gets a gun from them and misuses it at his college, threatening the students to vote for him. Surprisingly, Laxmikant’s daughter is also a student there, and she opposes him.
During the search for Babloo, the criminal is seen running around wearing a Burqa and seeking shelter from Devi and Sheikh. Both of them deny his request despite being the ones who ordered him to kill the child. Babloo becomes furious and tries to figure out a plan to escape the country. Amidst this chaos, he picks up Pinky’s phone only to find her previous lover calling her and asking her to return to him. Babloo rages out at Pinky and threatens her, but the latter earns his trust and suggests him a better plan.
Avinash gets a hint from Meetu that Babloo wants to meet him. Avinash goes to the location and finds Pinky, who informs him that if he guarantees their protection, she will reveal the main criminal who ordered the child’s kidnap and killing. Avinash hesitates at first but then later agrees, only to find that Sheikh is the one behind the crime.
Avinash and his team prepare to arrest Babloo since he agreed to state witness in the court against Sheikh. Sadly Babloo and his team get attacked and killed by Devi. We also find that Ahlawat, an STF officer, is the one leaking all the moves to a higher official, which ultimately goes to the ears of Sheikh. Hence, before the STF can do something productive, Sheikh finishes them.

There are chances of Ahlawat being the main reason behind Ghazi’s death as well, just like Avinash predicted before. Coming back to Babloo’s issue, Pinky escapes during the massacre, so there are chances of her bearing witness, but we’re unsure about that. The episode ends with Avinash visiting Sheikh’s home—he is close to the villain.
Inspector Avinash Episode 7 Review: Final Thoughts
The episode progressed with what happened in episode 5, so hopefully, they will also solve the mystery behind Ghazi’s death and that creepy doctor. While the story is progressing slowly and steadily, this particular episode didn’t offer much information, so will the crew make episode 8 clever enough to fix all pieces? Or is there going to be a season 2 where we will get answers?
Avinash is still unsure of Devi’s criminal history and her possible moves since she is portrayed more horrifically than Sheikh. Moreover, the criminal side of Veer Bhushan hasn’t been checked yet. Next, why Ahlawat is betraying STF and to whom he is reporting remains a big mystery. Another question that pops up is whether Ahlawat is really the bad cop or is he telling the information for good. Also, what’s with this new guy Imran threatening at his college?
Why are there so many characters? How is the story going to connect them all? All these questions deserve an answer, and hopefully, the upcoming episodes will neatly present us.
