Informa (インフォーマ) is a brand-new Japanese crime-thriller series that premiered on Netflix. The show is directed by Fujii Michihito, and Sakai Masaaki is credited as the screenwriter. Based on a novel of the same name by Garyo Okita, the plot surrounds an informer embroiled in the underworld and politics. He is accompanied by a wimpy reporter searching for “real” news on his adventures.
Starring Kenta Kiritani in the lead role as Keijiro Kihara alongside Reo Sano as Mishima Kanji. With a total of ten episodes, the approximate runtime is 25-30 minutes each.
Informa Ending Explained
Things soon go south after Ishimaya reveals his true intentions behind the brutal attacks. When his scandal broke out a few years ago, he saw three of his victims laughing at his plight. The single incident hurt his pride and drove him to conspire against them. He manipulated Saeki Ryo into believing that he was sent to murder for the good of the country and its people, but that was far from the truth. The former politician wanted revenge, and he only used Ryo to his advantage. Meanwhile, he was also connected to Kihara and provided him with sources about the incidents throughout.
How are Kihara and Ryo related?
In the later episodes, it was shown that Kihara and Ryo had known each other since childhood. They both grew up in the same orphanage. Ryo often acted like an elder brother to Kihara, who was always bullied by the rest of the resident kids. He protected Kihara from every attack, and they developed a close relationship. However, eventually, they had to part ways as a result of Ryo getting adopted by Ishimaya at a young age.
Why did Ishimaya pit Kihara and Ryo against each other?
Ishimaya knew about their relationship and used it to satisfy his psychopathic thoughts. He very carefully created circumstances where both of them hurt each other so that it would lead to an elaborated revenge tale. The premedicated scenarios were set up in meticulous ways to make the childhood friends turn into bloodthirsty enemies. His final plan was to receive a satisfying death from Kihara; however, Ryo killed him before his wish was fullfilled.

What happened to Kihara and Ryo?
Kihara realises who was behind the attacks and his gruesome plan. He finally recognised Ryo and headed out to finally take his revenge. He arrives at their old orphanage, where Ryo is searching for the old documents. Kihara tells him that his parents’ names are not mentioned in the forms. Eventually, the encounter leads to a fistfight and they both try to kill each other. However, Ryo hands his gun to Kihara, and he shoots it, which ends up killing him.
Are Kihara and Mishima still working together?
Kihara went off the radar and did not contact Mishima for a long while. However, Kihara tricks Mishima into meeting him and hands him an important document. Suddenly they get attacked by a few people and manage to escape the scene. The final instances indicates that they will be working together in the future.
