In the film, it’s shown that in the 80s Ousmane and Agna moved to a suburb of Paris and opened their own restaurant, as he wanted to work for himself. Agna was pregnant with Ibrahim at the time and soon he grew up in the neighbourhood. However, when he was a teenager, his father brought in another woman named Maimouna, who was pregnant with Ousmane’s child – who turned out to be Adama.

Seeing his mother getting neglected by his father, Ibrahim started to despise Ousmane and decided to become independent but in all the wrong ways. Soon after Adama, Agna also gave birth to Aissata who was loved by both brothers. But one day when Adama was running towards his mother when he saw her arguing with someone, he gets hit by an oncoming truck & ends up losing his vision.

With Ibrahim going down the drugs & crime path, Ousmane also distanced himself from him & doted on Adama more. So when he lost his vision, he asked Agna to move out – mainly because Maimouna believed that she took the help of a witch to cast spell on his kid & to make room in their small apartment for Adama to adjust.

This breaks the family apart as Agna & Aissata start living in an apartment Ibrahim had bought. He even offered his father to move there, since it was much bigger but his father didn’t want to do anything with his money earned through criminal activities. Over the years both the brothers grow up with Adama being more equipped to deal with everything & even aspiring to create music.

His friend Malik seems to be dating Aissata and when Ibrahim gets to know about it, he gives him a bad thrashing & warning to stay away from her. When Aissata goes to Adama, asking for her boyfriend, their father has a stroke while going down the stairs & dies. With him gone, it gives Ibrahim the encouragement to do anything and even stash his black money in Adama’s apartment.

While they don’t want to deal with the violent Ibrahim, they are forced to comply with him. But at night, the gang members of the opposite group break into his apartment & stab his dog to death while trying to steal the money bags. After losing his best friend & protector, Adama gives in to the witch’s invitation and seeks her help to stop Ibrahim.

She performs some ritual on her that brings back his vision slowly. Despite that Adama tries to make things right by asking the opposition gang leader Eddy to give the money back. He beats Adama asking where’s the money but is not able to get the response he wanted. He also gets his stepmother Maimouna in the same dungeon, where Adama confesses to getting his eyesight back. They plan to escape by striking Ibrahim on his head when he comes to see them. But on hearing the news of Adama’s abduction, Agna comes to rescue them and instead gets hit on the head.

Adama & Maimouna seek Eddy’s help who put him up in a hotel & they contact Malik for their needs. However, when Aissata visits her boyfriend’s house she finds the same t-shirt worn by Adama and realises that Malik could be helping Adama, who put her mother in a coma. She tells it all to Ibrahim, who has been frantically searching for Adama.

He abducts Malik first & cuts up one of his fingers to send to Adama. Looking at everything happening, even Eddy asks the mother-son duo to go on their own way and that’s when Adama strikes the deal to get all of Ibrahim’s project to him if he helped one last time. Adama makes a plan to create a blackout in Ibrahim’s building & throw out smoke bombs to block visibility.

He rescues Malik first and tries to shoot Ibrahim by climbing from the neighbour’s balcony to Ibrahim’s. But he gets caught by him, who starts beating Adama with no mercy. To save himself, he takes out Ibrahim’s knife and stabs him. Simultaneously, locked up Aissata also break open her room door on hearing all the commotion and finds a bleeding Ibrahim who loses his breath soon.

Meanwhile, Eddy’s men also attack the building taking out Ibrahim’s men but Adama hatches a plan to save himself & the building residents by calling the police who catch them all. To get out of the chaos, Adama put on his glasses & stick while going out of the building.
