If You Wish Upon Me: Ji Chang-wook on the Kdrama, “I Hope That the Positive Energy I Felt…”

Ji Chang-wook’s new Kdrama If You Wish Upon Me is already being talked about among viewers as the actor shares his views on the upcoming series.

If You Wish Upon Me is a new Kdrama inspired by an actual organization in the Netherlands that fulfils the wishes of terminal cancer patients. Ji Chang Wook will star as Yoon Gyeo Re, a man who has been pushed to his limits by a difficult life full of struggles. However, when Yoon Gyeo Re winds up having to volunteer at a hospice, he finds his life changing in unexpected ways while helping to make the patients’ wishes come true.

Ji Chang Wook shared, “Due to the backdrop of a hospice hospital, I got to meet many actors, and it would get noisy when we gathered together to the extent that even the director had a difficult time. That’s how great the atmosphere was. I hope that the positive energy I felt on set is delivered well to the viewers as well.”

As shared by Soompi today, the actor spoke about the cast having perfect chemistry from day one which made the set just as warm and enjoyable as the plot of the drama.

If You Wish Upon Me has a wonderful plot and a talented cast that will touch your hearts with the numerous scenarios that this series will bring to you. The teaser has brought up the excitement of the actor’s fans as they wait to see him on the screen once again.

The plot of the show has already brought up the hopes of viewers around the world who have been captivated by the teaser that are being released on Youtube.

The Kdrama is set to release on August 10, 2022, and will release new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:50 PM (KST) on KBS2 and on Viki.

The drama is ready to steal our hearts as Ji Chang-wook returns with his second drama this year. The actor has charmed our hearts with his amazing performances and we are eagerly looking forward to another wonderful performance by this charming and talented actor.
