Following its eagerly awaited debut on April 18th, the latest K-pop audition survival series has swiftly entranced audiences, now embarking on its third week with the much-anticipated I-LAND 2 Episode 4 Preview. Known as 아이랜드2 in Korean, this reality competition series, originally named I-LAND Season 2: N/a, features a roster of 24 participants, blending established K-pop stars with aspiring idol trainees. Meanwhile, those consigned to the “Ground” must adapt to a simpler setup, sharing a dance studio and making use of basic facilities.
The pivotal Meta Ball gate and evaluation stage acts as the epicentre of competition, where participants’ destinies hang in the balance, swayed by a delicate interplay of votes from both their peers and the producers. With the ongoing flux between I-Land and the Ground, the tension reaches a fever pitch as contenders confront the looming spectre of elimination and replacement, infusing their pursuit of stardom with layers of suspense and intrigue.

Brief I LAND 2 Episode 3 Recap
I-LAND 2 Episode 3 commences with a depiction of both the I-Landers and the contestants who were relegated to the Ground due to their previous performance. Subsequently, it is announced that everyone must convene in the lobby for the revelation of the second test mission. This mission entails a Seesaw Game, pitting I-Landers against each other in a battle of units. Each participant discovers that their designated partner will serve as their competitor. Six I-Landers form a unit to compete, with the unit boasting the highest individual scores emerging victorious.
Those who lose will be relegated to the Ground, with the same fate awaiting the Grounders based on their team’s performance. Following the test, the first elimination round on the Ground ensues. Amidst the desire of all participants to remain on the I-Land rather than be confined to the Ground, they commence practice sessions within their respective groups.
During the performance, the opening act was electrifying, led by the Panorama unit. Their high-energy rendition set the tone for the entire show, leaving the judges thoroughly impressed. Following their dynamic performance, Saebi received abundant praise from the judges for her standout contribution.
Next up was the Bad Boy unit, kicking off their performance with the iconic song by Red Velvet. Their rendition showcased exceptional talent, both in dance and vocals, proving their prowess on stage. Fuko particularly shone during this performance, delivering an outstanding performance. However, Kang Jiwon’s portrayal as the main vocalist fell short of expectations, leaving the judges wanting for more emotion and precision in her delivery.
