From what we know after watching the series, Jonah learns about the still-surviving Adolf Hitler (in the first episode itself) and makes it a prime mission to bring the Nazi leader to justice. Moreover, after extraditing the evil from Argentina, he initiates the process of “The Greatest Trial of the Century.”
Adolf Hitler is faced with the testimonies of his inhumane crimes and is forced to relive the evils of his past. Even though he tries to evade the outcome, the court punishes him with imprisonment and brings the Nazi warhead to his final conclusion.
Moreover, Jonah also finds his solace after the outcome of the trial and heads back to Clara to spend the rest of the days as a normal person. However, after his brief discussion with FBI Agent Millie, it’s quite clear that Jonah has still not given up on his secret missions, and might never retire from the hunt. Something which becomes evident from the last few scenes, when Jonah is overlooking another Nazi from his table.

Furthermore, the series also concludes on a positive note for the rest of the hunters and reveals the real reason behind the death of Ruth. Throughout the season, the parallel storyline of Meyer Offerman, finds him deducing the leak behind his true identity, which eventually leads him to Jonah’s grandmother. Ultimately, we discover that Wolf Meyer was the real person behind the death of Ruth in the first season. Which is why he recruited Jonah and the others as part of the hunting team in the first place.
Will there be Hunters Season 3?

Unfortunately, the Nazi-hunter thriller show won’t be renewed for a third season. And the second instalment will remain the last element of the story. Moreover, even the plot doesn’t hint towards another continuation, as the tale of the hunters is concluded perfectly. The streaming platform already revealed that this will be the final season of the show, and the series won’t be getting any further instalments.
