The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 9 Recap and Review

Is it us or the new Kardashians episode just dropped all the energy it got from the last one and delivered us a lukewarm, weird piece of episode? The finale is next week and the second last episode has to be the most boring and shallow one in this season, so far.

The Kourtney-Kimberley drama is under the rug, so we have a new topic being introduced in this episode: Beauty Standards. Remember how we saw Kylie in the third season’s trailer saying how the sisters need to have a bigger and deeper talk about the beauty standards they are setting? That comes to light in this one. The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 9 starts with Kylie heading to Kourtney’s place to do the latter’s makeup- we have no idea why! Where is the glam team?

This is where the sisters have this conversation but, no one is being clear and honest, for sure. Khloe is present in the scene too and, is the only one to talk about her insecurities about her shape and looks in the early times. Kylie just touches on fillers and moves on, giving us very muted, textbook dialogues concerning the beauty world, the family’s influence on it and the love-hate relationship audience have with them.

However, it was not the only segment that gave us the jitters. We saw some cringe Poosh Pool Party and Kourntey being oh-so annoying yet again. Khloe and Kourtney also took a lie detector test where the former ripped the delusions of the latter apart. You go, Khlo! And, some Kylie and Kim bonding moments.

The highlight of The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 9 has to be Kim’s divorce from Kanye getting finalized. Although we do not see a lot of Kim, we did find her in a vulnerable state and saw her recover as much as she can. Kim was seen arranging storage closets in this episode and, we are all for it.

The Kardashians Season 3 Episode 9: Final Thoughts

The second last episode of The Kardashians Season 3 was a downer, we will not lie. The episode really did not deliver us anything meaningful and funny and, was just cringe from start to end. Only Kim and Khloe can add value to this show and, if we consider Kourtney the drama can come along. But apart from all that, it was a boring watch overall.
