Psychological thrillers are really Hulu’s way of telling us to engage with the platform more. So, we would say after the confusing yet sensational Clock, we have The Clearing making our watchlist more full than clear. Disney+ produces it but, well, we do not expect it to be anywhere close to PG-13 given the story it is going to tell. Wooden Horse is also the production house involved in the making of this series.
The series is created by Elise McCredie and Matt Cameron and is based on In the Clearing by J. P. Pomare. The screenplay is adapted from the book by Elise McCredie, Matt Cameron and Osamah Sami. Jeffrey Walker and Gracie Otto serve as the directors for the thriller. Ahead of the release of the show, let us have a look at some key details surrounding it.

The Clearing Plot/Synopsis
The official plot description for the series on Hulu reads: “When a local girl goes missing, a woman is forced to face the demons from her traumatic childhood.” The film is based on a real-life character, a female leader that is the head of a cult. Giving us a very Where the Crawdads Sing vibe, the latest series promises to be a thriller like no other, making it’s setting and characters as if from a documentary but, told in the form of fiction- something that is common yet always interesting to watch.
The Clearing Release Date and More
