The Cleaning Lady
Developed by Miranda Kwok and based on the 2017 Argentinian television series La Chica Que Limpia, The Cleaning Lady is a thriller drama series following the life of Thony De La Rosa, played by Élodie Yung, caught up in the cleaning job of a local cartel. This is Us Season 6
The final season for NBC’s This Is Us is finally here. This fan favourite emotional drama with an ensemble cast that includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas and more, released its first episode on January 4, 2022, and ushered fans to the reality of its goodbye. Black-ish Season 8
Another fan favourite show that is officially kicking off to mark its end is Black-ish with its eighth season. This sitcom TV series was created by Kenya Barris and follows the journey of an upper-class African-American family, giving us deeper look at their personal and sociopolitical issues. With Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown and Marsai Martin forming the main cast, the first episode was released on January 4 and will be followed up with a new episodic release every Tuesday.
Women of the Movement
ABC’s historical drama, Women of the Movement recounts the journey of Mamie Till-Mobley, who fought for justice to be served for the murder of her son, Emmett Till. Based on the novel Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement by Devery S. Anderson, this limited series consists of six episodes in total. How I Met Your Father
Reboots and sequels seem to be the mood this season, with the revival of the acclaimed Sex and the City as And Just Like That decades later, we have a new sequel on the list. Serving as the follow up to 2005’s iconic How I Met Your Mother, Hulu’s upcoming standalone sequel sitcom by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger is set to revive your nostalgic bones. The first two episodes are going to come out on January 18, 2022.

Single Drunk Female
Created by Simone Finch, this upcoming Hulu series stars Sofia Black-D’Elia as Samantha Fink in the leading role, who after a public breakdown, forcefully moves back home with her mother to sober up and avoid landing up in jail. The first episode will premiere on January 20, 2022.
Monarch
Fox’s Monarch is going to debut on Hulu on January 30, 2022. Created by Melissa London Hilfers, Monarch has a unique plotline of being a multigenerational musical drama about the Romans. The show will star Trace Adkins, Beth Ditto, Anna Friel and several others in the cast.
Sex Appeal
Probably, the only film release on Hulu for the month of January, Sex Appeal is going to be about teenager Avery’s preparation to get her first time right with her long-distance boyfriend by enlisting the help of her friend Larson. Directed by Talia Osteen, the film features Mika Abdalla, Jake Short, Paris Jackson, Mason Versaw, Margaret Cho and others. It will premiere on the 14th of January, 2022.
