House of the Dragon star Matt Smith, who plays the notorious character of Prince Daemon Targaryen guested on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Matt Smith is best known for his role as the Doctor on BBC’s Doctor Who. In addition to his work on Doctor Who, Smith portrayed Prince Philip in Netflix’s The Crown. He has starred in films such as Last Night in Soho and Morbius.
On the show. the actor talks about meeting King Charles after playing Prince Philip in The Crown and pulling off an epic battle without dialogue in House of the Dragon before teaching Jimmy a few phrases in the High Valyrian language. While talking about his character, Fallon complements his long hairstyle and how it changed to a short one, by the latest episode.
Matt Smith says, ‘I’m good from the sides. It’s quite a lot from the front, I think.’ and later added that it takes a lot of time to put on the blonde-silverish hair wig and he prefers the short one better. While the host applauds his intense acting in the fight scene with the Crab feeder in episode 3 of HoTD, Smith jokes, ‘It’s when I’m at my best, actually, when I don’t speak, essentially.’

Moving on to the intricate elements of the show, how the characters from the house Targaryen speaks the language of High Valyrian and Smith is completely fluent in it, as he shows off his language skills to the host and the audience. While also teaching Jimmy Fallon to say a few words, he reveals that the Valyrian phrases make bizarre English sentences when reversed.
While the actor has been a delight throughout the show, he, however, seems to forget that you can’t swear on national television and we hear the beeps in every few sentences. The host expected him to realise it after a few times but when he finally told him you can’t swear, he seem to be genuinely not aware of it, as the whole 7 mins run through his mind.
