What to Expect from the New Episode of Label?

In the Label episode 5 ending sequence, we saw that a mysterious entry dropped by Inspector Arul’s station to hand over Prabha’s old case file, connecting his association with Paathaalam’s character. Right after Prabha’s judge exam, Arul meets him out front and incriminates him for having enrolled Veera and Kumar’s help to kill Paathaalam, formerly known as Nagendran, the young goalkeeper who’d attacked a man back in the day. Arul believes that Prabha got the two men to murder Paathaalam because he was scared of the gangster speaking up against him, thus sabotaging is chances of becoming a lawyer.

According to Arul and a lot of other higher-ups, Prabha was also involved in that attack from the past and they’ve firmly assumed that Prabha had paid off Nagendran to surrender in his place when they were kids so that he could have a clean slate and walk away untouched. And this is exactly why killing Paathaalam was the only way out for him to become a judge because if he came forward with the supposed testimony against Prabha, he would never be granted the chance to rise higher. Prabha is left dumbstruck on hearing these speculations and is taken into custody by the inspector.

Regardless of how hard Prabha had worked to get away from that past memory, his old traumas have once again become attached to his present and Paathaalam’s murder has only further pushed his chances to stand up for himself down the drain. The upcoming episode will further delve into this case as the Label’s people may again try to target Prabha while he’s pushed in the corner to fend for himself with the bare minimum at his disposal, especially with Arul also sparring with him now. With barely anyone on his side to corroborate his story, Prabha’s fight has just gotten worse. Stay tuned to find out how he’ll find a way out of this fix.

The next episode of the Label Tamil series will drop on Disney+ Hotstar on Friday.
