Hot Skull Trailer: The Fight Against an Epidemic

Hot Skull is an upcoming Netflix mini-series, and the trailer has finally dropped. It is a Turkish series created by Mert Baykal starring Osman Sonant, Hazal Subasi, Sevket Çoruh and more. The show will consist of a total of eight episodes. The theme of the series depicts apocalyptic science fiction.

The story is about a man in a dystopian world where a deadly epidemic is spreading throughout the country, and he is the only one immune to it. The disease spreads through verbal communication, and the man is a linguist who tries to save the world from an inevitable apocalypse. But the story seems to be more complicated and twisted than it seems.

Produced by Timur Savci, the series tries to co-relate the real-life situations that the world has been facing for a few years. The trailer gives us a glimpse of what the series is about and how the story will play out. Thriller, drama and suspense seem to be the main ingredients of the show.

As the trailer starts, a man appears who seems to be the protagonist of the series. Various people throughout were seen talking about him which implies that he is a very important character. The man is seen escaping from various people and which leads him to fall into various dangerous situations.

It is also shown that the entire world has been disrupted by the epidemic and everyone is desperate to find a cure. Multiple groups of people are after the linguist who is immune to the disease. They are most likely hoping to find a cure from him. The people in the trailer refer to him as ‘Hot Skull‘ which implies that it is his pseudonym.

Further, into the trailer, it is shown that the situation is not as straightforward as it seems. There are multiple political and social influences at play which might be controlling the situation. The instances seem to get more complicated when an unknown character is introduced and the protagonist is distressed over it.

The set, the locations in the trailer, and the bone-chilling background score are extremely intriguing. The various twists and turns further grow the anticipation of the audience.
