Korean drama actor and singer Hwang Min Hyun stuns in the Hidden Side teaser as an innocent devil, ready to show us the deepest depths of his personality in the new mini-album titled Truth or Lie. This current teaser shows us the single and the music video that will come from his first solo project. He released the track list on February 16, 2023 and has mapped out the schedule for all the teaser and trailer releases on his Instagram stories.
In this teaser, we get to see the Alchemy of Souls star in a completely different garb, channeling the dark and broody metrosexual male. He is seen in a lavish room, looking out the window and seeing the darkness outside. There are a few snippets of the music video that show Hwang Min Hyun in a party disappearing suddenly, walking through a hallway lit up red, surrounded by people ready to abduct him and finally, a closer look at his face as we hear the voiceover in the background.
The voiceover explores the kind of person the character describes himself to be. Not crossing paths with them or pretending like we know this individual described is the mistake their enemies would be making. However, the contrast between the innocence on Hwang Min Hyun’s face and the general aesthetic of the teaser really solidifies the title of the song and the meaning it could portray in it.
Truth or Lie is a mini-album with tracks like Honest, Hidden Side, Crossword, Perfect, Type, Smile and CUBE. The second teaser of the music video is set to release on February 25, 2023 at 12 AM KST. As previously mentioned, Hwang Min Hyun is widely known for his role in Alchemy of Souls, along with actors Lee Jae-wook and Jung So-min. Netflix’s description of the series reads, “A powerful sorceress in a blind woman’s body encounters a man from a prestigious family, who wants her help to change his destiny.”

Before getting into acting, Hwang Min Hyun was a singer for the K-Pop band NU’EST and then also joined the band Wanna One after winning the Produce 101 competition. He had also recently starred in the show Boys Planet as the star master and the Korean drama Live On in 2021.
