Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 9 again gave me anxiety about the future happenings. Let’s see how the 9th episode unfolded.
Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 8 Recap

The episode starts with D and his team pulling off a brilliant plan to reclaim the lost key. This clever move not only succeeds but also brings D closer to his makeshift team, proving they are far from losers. Despite D’s constant denial of caring for anyone but himself, it’s evident that he is slowly forming bonds with the humans around him. His view of humanity is gradually changing, just as some humans are beginning to accept D despite his true nature.
Koguma, the second human to learn about D being a foot soldier, shows no discomfort with the situation. On the contrary, he openly accepts D as a comrade and expresses his willingness to follow him. Although D insists he only sees his teammates as stepping stones, his inaction toward silencing Koguma speaks volumes about his growing attachment.
This episode is packed with unexpected twists and turns. It’s refreshing to see characters like Kai openly expressing their disdain for both the villains and the corrupt Ranger association. It’s clear that some Rangers are frustrated with the corruption within the association and are willing to align with the villains to cleanse it of immoral individuals. However, what nobody anticipated was the survival of a boss villain who epitomizes evil, adding another layer of complexity to the unfolding story.

Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 9 Review And Recap
Today’s episode starts with the exam where Kai and his party are slowly turning the tide in their favor. Kai has finally managed to understand how to use the new weapon, and now he, along with others, is pushing D and his friends back. Here, we also see a direct scuffle between the Rangers who believe their cause is superior to the others and, hence, they deserve a spot in the Rangers association.
However, that is definitely not the case, as everyone has a bitter past that they want to overcome, and all of them have worked hard to be at the training center. But throughout the exam, it is clear that D and his friends have a clear advantage while D is the only one struggling against Kai. Here, things are more complicated as D believes that he will break Kai’s disillusionment about a boss surviving by winning the exam. Kai, on the other hand, wants to win because he is sure there is a boss villain running rampant who is also responsible for his brother’s death.

This is where they both get disturbed by XX in the form of Koguma, who starts to attack Kai out of nowhere. But all of this is nothing compared to the arrival of a vengeful Blue Rider who discovers the truth about XX and D.
Today’s episode again plays with our emotions and our ideologies. In the beginning, it seemed like the Rangers association was one-sidedly doing bad things to the villainous army, who are actually harmless. But that is definitely not the case. The villainous army did have bad intentions, and they did pose a considerable threat to humanity.
Now, it is very natural that from their views, humans are bad, but it is also apparent that from humanity’s eyes, the invaders are the ones in the wrong and need to be eradicated. Hence, in such a situation, I suspect a psychological and moral dilemma to arise within D just like how it is arising within us.

Verdict
One might feel bad about the way Blue treated XX but, considering the fate of the other Rangers who had to die at the hands of Peltora, I believed it was well deserved. Only later will we see who is going to win the war: humanity or the invaders.
