Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 12 was shocking and makes us anticipate the next season. Let’s review what happened in the 12th episode.
Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 11 Recap
Today’s episode brought another intriguing and complex twist to the series. This time, the Rangers face off against one of Peltora’s clones in an intense battle. D, a supposed foot soldier, has chosen to side with the humans against his boss, asserting his independence and following his own desires. D’s actions show that he will support whoever aligns with his goals, be it foot soldiers or humans.

The battle is fierce, and the humans suffer an unexpected casualty. We also learn more about Suzukiri, who is secretly assisting Peltora. Her deep-rooted hatred for the Rangers seems to stem from her origins, making her a complex character who isn’t entirely aligned with either side.
The episode also delves into the backstory of the Blue Ranger, who had a tumultuous young adulthood. Saved by the previous Blue Ranger, he worked in the underworld to help the less fortunate before becoming the current Blue Ranger. Despite his rough past, he doesn’t seem deserving of the foot soldiers’ wrath.
Initially, the series portrayed the monsters as the good guys and the Rangers as the antagonists. However, this dynamic has become increasingly complicated, making it hard to root for the monsters anymore. This episode highlights the moral ambiguities and shifting alliances, leaving viewers questioning who the real heroes and villains are.
Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 12 Review

The episode begins with D directly challenging the Blue Keeper and taunting him to fight. Here, we also take a look back at the past and see how D and other foot soldiers came to be.
Apparently, one day, they were all created with no memories of their past or purpose in life. The only thing that they were told by the boss monsters is that they exist for their bosses. This sort of slave mentality is very apparent in XX but nonexistent in D. We see that he has always been perceptive and asks questions about his existence and purpose in life. Thus, when the boss monsters got defeated, he did not feel much for them but rather was upset that he would now have to put on an act in front of the world.

D’s background is very important because now we know a bit more about him and why his train of thought differs from others. Even when he fights with the Blue Ranger, he refuses to go for underhanded methods and wishes to keep it fair. He also leaves Blue’s subordinate alone when he could have taken him hostage and manipulated his fight against the Blue Ranger.
Towards the end, we get some very uneventful conclusions, which even angers D himself. His anger is not just directed towards his mortal enemies, the dragon keepers, but also towards Peltora. We also see Suzukiri’s cover finally being blown by someone within the danger association, but she again manages to escape because the traitor finder is a traitor himself. We also see a very unexpected return of someone about whom I was personally very curious.

Verdict
Today’s episode was decent for me. I enjoyed the part where we were shocked by the result of D and Blue Ranger’s battle, but I am also not satisfied with the way the series did not disclose many things in the end. I would have appreciated a bit more information apart from the not-so-informative origin story of D. Nonetheless I must admit this show came out of nowhere and became one of the most promising this season.
