Furies Ending Explained

The main premise of the show is three women fighting against the atrocities that the men of the town bestowed upon innocent young girls. They were set on destroying the child trafficking syndicate and kill the ones who have been running it. Even though the story seemed simple and straightforward, a major plot twist changed everything. The woman who was training the girls, Aunt Lin, aka Jaqueline, had an interesting past with the sex ring owners.

It was revealed that Aunt Lin’s family was brutally murdered by The Big Four, and she had been planning on taking revenge on them for five years. This revelation did not sit right with Bi; however, Thanh decided to stick by Lin.

Did Aunt Lin get her revenge?

In the movie’s conclusive moments, the final plan to end the crime gang had been deployed, and Thanh and Bi headed it. They successfully managed to kill off most of the criminals by themselves. However, the last blow was taken by Aunt Lin as she tricked Han “Mad Dog” into thinking that she was dead. She faced him heroically and confronted him about his actions. During their heated conversation, Lin shoots Long merely because he did not stop Hai when he killed her family. Eventually, she also shoots Hai point blank and avenges her late husband and son.

Why did Aunt Lin shoot Thanh?

When Bi learned that Aunt Lin had been lying to her since the beginning, she could not trust her again. So after the mission was complete, she decided to leave her side and took Thanh with her. But it did not sit right with Lin, so she asked Than to shoot Bi and prove her loyalty. Lin declared that since she killed Han, the new owner of the terf was her. Overwhelmed with power, she could not stand any insubordination. However, Thanh did not follow her order and turned around to shoot Lin instead. But Lin anticipated that move and quickly shot Thanh.

Who won the fight?

When Thanh lost consciousness, Bi was furious and attacked Aunt Lin. But she failed to cause any damage in the slightest. Nevertheless, she does not give up and attacked her again. After an elaborate action-packed sequence, Bi managed to shoot Lin. During her final moments, Lin said that Bi had become “one of them” even if she did not want to and died after a few minutes. Tired and exhausted, Bi also loses consciousness.

Are Thanh and Bi alive?

The police arrived at the scene and found the three lying on the floor. As they were investigating, they realised that Bi was still breathing, which indicates that she was still alive. Meanwhile, the older version of Thanh appears in jail, who is the lead antagonist of the sequel movie Furie.
