Full Swing Trailer: Creators of ‘Drive to Survive’ Grant an Off-Course Access to the Legacy of Golf’s Top Pros

Golf isn’t like most adrenaline-kicking sports. While keeping the exhibits of the same on a low end, the sport is all about accuracy and professionalism and Netflix is taking a Full Swing at its real representation with the upcoming documentary. From the mind of the Emmy-winning sports film production company, Box to Box, the same team that brought other sports realities closer to us with series like Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Break Point and more, the forthcoming series will follow professional golfers in their element.

The official log-line of the documentation-series reads, “This immersive documentary series follows a diverse group of professional golfers on and off the course across a relentless season of competition.” Golfers featured on the documentary include Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Scottie Scheffler, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Sahith Theegala, Joel Dahmen, Mito Pereira and Cameron Young. 

More pressure builds up as we tread closer to the final date of the premiere. To get a better idea of what will be highlighted in the series, you can watch the trailer released by Netflix linked below. Set in the season of competitions during the PGA tour and other championships like : the Masters/Augusta National, US Open and Open Championship, the visuals will take you through an up-close series of highs and lows faced by the players, as it sheds light on their personal as well as professional sides of life.

All kinds of power struggle and existential threats will be laid bare in the episodes coming ahead. This Valentine’s Day, let’s keep things athletic and dive into the unforeseen side of a sport that is bound to become your favourite after this watch.
