Fatal Seduction Volume 1 Ending Explained: This raunchy thriller is as much a game of passion as it is a game of who murdered whom. The thriller encompasses past and present events to bring forth a cliffhanger of epic proportions while providing some very raunchy scenes that feel both unnecessary and overdone.

Fatal Seduction Volume 1 Ending Explained

The thriller starts off with a fun weekend of merriment for best friends Brenda and Nandi, which ends with one of them cheating on her husband and the other one ending up dead. When Nandi comes back from her gateway, she is presented with Jacob, her hot one-night stand, in her law class. They start an affair, with her under the notion that her husband Leonard is also having one behind her back.

However, things start to get complicated once she realises that she can’t continue the affair and tries to break up with Jacob, who gets violent and starts to show up in front of her family. On the other hand, it turns out that Jacob isn’t just a jealous lover and has a past of his own that is thoroughly connected with Nandi and her family. As Nandi pushes Jacob away, he starts to get close to her daughter, Zinhla, in order to keep an eye on the family and keep his stronghold on them.

At the end of Fatal Seduction, Nandi does get to know the truth about Jacob and leaves him stranded while he begs for her to hear him out. Meanwhile, as it turns out, Leonard has also been hiding a shocking truth from everyone that his brother Vuyo has finally uncovered.

How is Jacob connected with Nandi and her family?

Years ago, when Leonard was yet to become a Justice, he was involved in a case about a young girl’s rape and murder. Although there were no clues about who had committed the crime, Leonard, with Brenda’s help, had provided false testimony that she had seen Jacob’s father, Benjamin Jiba, around the school at the time of the kidnapping. This resulted in Jiba taking his own life in prison out of fear and guilt. The incident resulted in Jacob’s mother also becoming mentally unstable.

Thanks to these heartbreaking incidents, Jacob decided to stalk Nandi and her family in order to get some sort of justice, after realising that becoming a lawyer won’t cut it for getting justice. However, he insists in his conversation with Nandi in the last episode that he wasn’t the one who murdered Brenda and that he really did fall in love with Nandi after getting to know her.

Why did Leonard convince Brenda to give false testimony?

During the rape and murder case, there were no witnesses and no proof of the real murderer’s identity. Although Vuyo did suspect the minister’s driver was behind the situation, Leonard didn’t let him investigate it because he was looking at a promotion if the incident blew over. Thus, he convinced Brenda to give false witness to wrap the case up quickly, and he became a Justice soon after.

Why did Jacob become PokebOi?

In order to keep his grip on Nandi’s family, Jacob tried to infiltrate her family in different ways. He tried to keep in touch with Nandi and continue their affair, but when that started to crumble, he created a fake profile and started to message Zinhla. The latter took an instant liking to this unknown person, for some reason, and started to divulge secrets about her life. As we reach the 7th episode, Zinhla still doesn’t know PokebOi’s real identity, although she meets Jacob at his auto repair shop, and he gaslights her thoroughly and makes her believe that he isn’t who she is looking for.

Why did Nandi start an affair with Jacob?

Nandi started an affair with Jacob during her weekend out with Brenda. Nandi and Leonard’s relationship was already at rock bottom, with him pulling away from her after an unfortunate miscarriage. Thus, the distance in their marriage, plus Nandi’s preconceived notion that Leonard was having an affair with his secretary (he wasn’t), pushed her to justify her immoral act. However, she does try to get away from Jacob after realising that Leonard was not seeing anyone behind her back.
