Farzar Review: Crazy Comedy With Blood, Gore and More!

The creators of Brickleberry and Paradise PD are back with a comedy sci-fi series that seems to top the two with its comedy and gore. Farzar is their latest creation that premiered on Netflix and is taking adult comedy to the next level. Creators Roger Black and Waco O’Guin have made this possible with a wonderful cast consisting of Dana Snyder, Lance Reddick, Kari Wahlgren and others. The plot follows Prince Fichael and his newly formed crew who are on a mission to kill the evil alien king Bazarack, only to find out a truth that can change his life.

Netflix describes the show as:

Alien races. Sentient robots, And an evil, oppressive dad. This raunchy adult animated series adds a spicy twist to some familiar sci-fi tropes.

Farzar Review

Farzar is an adult comedy sci-fi series that hit Netflix earlier today with its gory scenes and dark comedy that shows issues from the past and present. The series takes of with the theme of colonialism when a human Renzo helps take over an alien planet after a very bloody war. He then settles his empire inside a huge dome which protects the people from the alien monsters outside. He is a hypocrite who only cares about a throne that he got from marrying an old queen. However, things don’t always go the way he wants, especially not after his no-good son leaves the protective dome to slay the alien king Bazarack, only to find out the truth about his father.

The show also brings forward revisionist history, government propaganda, class warfare, capitalism, etc, on a planet far away which makes room for the creators’ imagination with the aliens. The sci-fi genre really is the best when you want to go all out with creativity and this can be seen throughout the show. The aliens made out of a variety of jokes are enough to keep the viewers laughing as they are taken through parodies of some of the popular shows from the 70s and 80s that you will definitely love.

Altogether, everything from the animation to the imagination of the creators has succeeded in creating a series that is here to make its way to the top in adult comedy. But let me warn you that the scenes can be a little disgusting for some and should be watched with discretion. If you’ve watched the other shows by the creators then I am sure that you won’t like Farzar either.

Summing Up: Farzar

Everything aside, this chaotic series is here to entertain you with the humour that will gross you out at times. However, I would suggest you give this a try for goofy characters and the poop jokes that are an example of what kind of jokes you can expect from this show. Just looking at some of these characters is enough to make you laugh so get ready for some disturbing but worthwhile comedy. So let’s put aside the gory scenes and check out this creative piece by the wonderful creators of Farzar Roger Black and Waco O’Guin who have passed the limits of their previous works!

Watch Farzar on Netflix.
