Starring Lindsay Lohan, a brand new Christmas movie is set to release during the holiday season. It is a romantic comedy, a perfect genre to set the mood and bring warmth this winter. It is a quintessential start to the holidays.
The trailer of Falling For Christmas shows Sierra, the daughter of a hotel magnate living a luxurious life. But that is not fulfilling in her life as she is searching for something more. She expresses that she does not just want to be known just by her last name, she wants people to know her for who she is.
It is further shown that she goes on a ski trip to the mountains along with her boyfriend. On the top of one of the highest peaks, her boyfriend proposes to her with an expensive diamond ring. But unfortunately, strong winds start to blow and Sierra falls off the cliff of the mountain.

She is found by a couple of people and ends up in a small town. But things start to get interesting when she does not seem to remember her name. Hence, a young man named Jake offers her help by letting her stay with him.
Further, into the trailer, it can be seen that Sierra is struggling to adjust to her new life. Wearing clothes from lost and found was not on her bucket list. She tries to help out with things but ends up making it worse instead. She attempts at making the bed when she has not worked a day in her life, yes her life took a U-turn.
When it has been two days and still no one finds her, it leaves her distraught. She feels like “unclaimed baggage”. However, it is seen she was still trying to make the best out of her situation. On the other hand, her father is trying to find her relentlessly.
They also show a conversation between Jake and his daughter, where she was asking him if he likes Sierra and he confirms it. He is seen trying to pursue her and express his feelings to her. His daughter also seems to be approving of the relationship.
After a while, they are seen together, the three of them, Sierra, Jake, and his daughter enjoying their life doing little things together. They almost look like a small family living together in a small town.
But things soon start to go south when her boyfriend from her actual life comes back again. She is seen reuniting with her family and that leaves her confused.
She might have to make a choice between Jake and her boyfriend. If she chooses to stay in a small town with her new family or go back to her actual family where she was not happy.
