Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 5 Recap

In today’s episode, emotions ran high as Natsu and his team faced off against members of Diabolos. With precise teamwork, they managed to overwhelm the villains, forcing them to flee. Before escaping, however, the Diabolos hinted that their group has even more dangerous dragon eaters waiting in the wings.
The threat doesn’t end there. Although Diabolos has shifted their focus from the Water God to hunting down Touka, Natsu and his friends are still determined to help Mercphobia. Natsu, having developed a soft spot for the Water God after witnessing his care for his subjects, is committed to finding a way to stop Mercphobia without killing him.

When Natsu arrives in the devastated city of Ermina, he realizes the full extent of the crisis. Mercphobia, now completely out of control after being attacked by Diabolos, is wreaking havoc. Surprisingly, Touka didn’t steal Mercphobia’s magic; instead, she took away his ability to control it. Now, it’s up to Natsu to stop the berserk Water God from destroying everything he once protected.
Meanwhile, Touka reveals her true intentions and the dark nature of her alter ego, the White Mage. Though Touka herself may not be dangerous, her White Mage persona poses a grave threat that must be stopped.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 6 Review And Recap

Today’s episode starts with a short bit involving Natsu, Lucy and Happy, which is definitely not a part of the original storyline. This was pretty funny, so I would ask you not to be confused when you first see it and just wait for the main storyline to happen. But then we get transferred to the time and place where things become an absolute nightmare for Natsu and his company.
Mercphobia is nowhere near close to stopping his carnage and has amped up his destruction. Not only that, but he has managed to create an ocean in the sky by floating all the water from the ocean upwards. He uses these waters to completely destroy all the buildings and drown anyone that is coming his way.

Natsu and Happy try to reach him, but they just can’t, as the water dragon God is too powerful. Just when everyone has accepted their fate of being unable to defeat the water God, we witness the arrival of another new and very important character. It is none other than one of the five Dragon gods, a fire dragon who is deceptively similar-looking to Igneel. What is his relation to Natsu’s adoptive father? Are they related, or do they just know each other somehow? You get the answer to these questions in this episode only, so do not miss it at all.
However, his arrival gives us an indication that he will be the final challenge that Natsu will have to face. His opponent is extremely strong, so Natsu must become stronger and that too without the help of his friends.

Verdict
This episode was very intense, and towards the end, we got some shocking revelations. The Natsu x Lucy shippers will also have some moments of joy as Lucy is the one who reminds Natsu of his humanity when he becomes unstable. Other than that, the animation is also really good, and the fight scenes keep you on the edge of your seat. This episode is extremely important so I will not spoil much and would urge you to watch it yourselves.
