BTS Jimin announced his solo album Face tracklist on February 21, 2023 and the album is set to explain “Jimin’s story of fronting his true self and making a new leap forward as an artist.” BigHit Music posted a short clip and announced the album’s release date, adding that fans will enjoy Jimin’s “own musicality with distinct timbre and impeccable dance performance.”
While just a few months back, Jimin collaborated with Big Bang’s Taeyang for the song Vibe, his unexpected solo album and a newly released behind the ‘Face‘ video that shows Jimin planning and preparing for his album arduously. At the same time, Jimin has already released plenty of solo songs like Lie, Promise, Serendipity, etc. However, this album’s tracklist shows that 5 out of 6 are accredited to Jimin.
Jimin’s Behind the Face Video
BangtanTV and Jimin posted on YouTube and Instagram a short video where Jimin can be seen planning for the album sincerely. He is seen writing the lyrics alone, playing the guitar, composing, recording, and re-hearing some of the tracks to check how well they’re delivered. The video is presented in a black and white shade that makes the entire video inspiring and makes everybody proud of Jimin. In fact Jimin himself claims that he is proud of far he has come.
Face Tracklist and Release Date
BTS Jimin’s new solo album Face tracklist consists of 6 songs. The song titles are
- Face-off
- Interlude : Dive
- Like Crazy
- Alone
- Set Me Free Pt.2
- Like Crazy (English Version)
Jimin has worked on composition and lyrics for all the songs except Interlude : Dive. The album is set to be released on March 24, 2023 at 1 pm KST/ 12 am ET. The English version of Like Crazy song is co-produced by BTS RM. In addition, BigHit also released a promotion schedule, all set to make the fans dwell in Jimin’s voice.
Remarkably, Jimin will release two other solo tracks, Christmas Love and Promise, on March 6, 2023 only a few days before the main drop of his album. Notably, the artist also informed that on March 17, 2023, a special pre-release music video of his solo album will be released, All these news made the ARMY fandom sob since the artist genuinely is giving so much content for the fans despite his busy schedule.
Since the BTS members will soon be enlisted for the military services, the artists giving the fans lots of content to cherish until they return is moving a lot of fans to tears. For the artist’ hard work, Jimin’s new album will be a mega-hit because the pre-booking of the album has already hiked in number.
