Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2: Here’s What We Know About the Sequel to Your Current Favourite Kdrama

There is no doubt that Extraordinary Attorney Woo is among the best Kdramas to watch since its release in the month of June. With its last episode having released yesterday, fans are not ready to say goodbye to this show and it looks like our prayers have been heard.

On August 17, a day before the release of the finale, the CEO of the production company behind the Kdrama shared his hopes for a possible season 2. He shared, “Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo'”. Along with this, he shared his goal to release the sequel in 2024 with hopefully more than 90% of the original cast.

It is obvious that with a goal to keep most of the original cast the wait will be long with one of the main characters, Kang Tae-oh going for his mandatory military service very soon. However, good things come with patience and fans are ready for this wait because it has been proven worthwhile.

The CEO plans to keep the hype for the show up in various ways like merchandise, webtoon, and so on. However, a source from the channel ENA made the statement that the production for season 2 is still under talks. But with the rising popularity of the show and the support of the fans, we can definitely hope for a sequel to our favourite show.

If you don’t already know about the show then, Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a South Korean legal drama which revolves around a genius lawyer on the autism spectrum. Following her journey as a rookie in one of the top law firms, we witness how her peculiar thinking helps her solve various cases.

The Korean drama directed by Yoo In-shik and written by Moon Ji-won, stars Park Eun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Kang Ki-young, Baek Ji-won, alongside other cast members.

The show has proven how talented this cast is as they take us through a rollercoaster of emotions through every episode. The drama not only shows some serious lawsuits but also keeps us entertained with the fun interactions between the characters.

The news of a possible season 2 has excited the fans who have been following the show till its end. The news has definitely washed away the sad tears of the fans as they now look forward to the sequel of their favourite attorney and the Hanbada team.
