Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani, has crossed the 100-crore mark at the box office. Many critics and moviegoers enjoyed the new story of Manjulika with a twist. Along with the story, the audience loved the music of BB 2. One of the songs the makers added from the first film is Shreya Ghoshal’s Ami Je Tomar and Mere Dholna. However, music composer Pritam recreated different versions of the same song sung by Shreya, Arijit Singh and Tushar Joshi.
When the trailer was out, the makers had added only one line, ‘Ami Je Tomar’ in a male voice. Fans were quick to guess that it was Arijit’s voice. However, in the film, they used Tushar Joshi’s version. The audience became a fan of Joshi’s voice in the song. But fans tweeted and requested T-Series and Pritam to release Arijit’s version too. A few days ago, Kartik shared the Tandav video from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on Ami Je Tomar sung by Arijit Singh. The response was amazing.
Last night, T-Series Music shared all the different recreation audios of Ami Je Tomar and Mere Dholna from BB2. Fans can now enjoy both Tushar’s film version and Arijit’s version in audio. There’s also Shreya’s Ami Je Tomar song used in Kiara Advani’s scare scene. Ghoshal has also lent her voice for the Mere Dholna Revisited version and Mere Dholna The Sisters Version. The makers have also dropped the entire jukebox of the film.
All the different versions of one of the best songs from the film are fantastic. It’s upon the audience to decide which one they like the best.
