Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 7 Recap

Here, we explore Senku’s past and his connection with Dr. Xeno, which dates back to when Senku was just ten years old. At that time, he was determined to build a rocket, but every attempt ended in failure. Seeking guidance, he reached out to NASA with his inquiries.

Most dismissed his messages as a prank, but Xeno was the only one who took him seriously and responded with genuine advice. From that point on, the two maintained their correspondence until a shift occurred in Dr. Xeno’s mindset.

Once a scientist who viewed his field as an elegant pursuit, Xeno gradually came to see science as a means of gaining power and control. This change was triggered when a project he had deeply invested in was rejected by higher authorities, leaving him disillusioned and planting the seeds of rebellion.

In a past discussion with colleagues, Xeno was asked what he would do if he ever found himself in a prehistoric world. Without hesitation, he answered that he would establish himself as a dictator and wield scientific knowledge to rule.

Today’s episode was a wild ride as things took a drastic turn for Senku and the people of the Kingdom of Science. In the first half, we see how Dr. Xeno became a human from petrification and discovered how depetrification was happening. Then he made a mixture of low-concentration nitric acid and readily poured it over the soldiers that were present at the party he was at. Thankfully, all of them kept their eyes open as he directed and were able to wake up.

Dr. Xeno was also lucky in another way. He was able to get his hands on the platinum ring that one of Luna’s fans, Carlos, kept safe in his mouth. Now, with its help, he can produce huge amounts of nitric acid and acquire as much gunpowder as he wants. Later, Stanley also acquired tobacco for his much-needed cigarettes, and this is how the American colony came into existence.

Things go absolutely downhill from the moment Senku and his friend decide not to keep an eye on Luna. While they were having a very important conversation out in the open at the deck, Luna could hear most of the things they said. She also relayed this to her waiting partner, who also happens to be Stanley, the sniper. Needless to say, the conclusion had a huge cliffhanger.

Today’s episode was thrilling but also infuriating. Why would Senku or others not take into account that Luna can very much eavesdrop and spy on them? They completely blew their cover and now things are at their worst possible position. How they will recover from this needs to be seen.

I absolutely loved today’s episode because of how intense it was, but at the same time, I am worried about what might happen to my favourite character in the series. Hopefully, it will be shown that this was all part of an elaborate plan by Senku and not a mistake.
