Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 14 Recap

Dr Stone Season 4 Episode 15: Still

Senku is aiming to build a city dedicated to producing superalloys. The real challenge, though, lies in reaching the destination. Since their target is deep in the heart of South America, travelling by land is out of the question, especially with the Amazon rainforest posing threats like swarms of deadly mosquitoes.

That leaves them with only one option: traversing the continent with extremely limited fuel supplies. Just when things seem impossible, fortune steps in. The group encounters a new character who becomes instrumental in overcoming their obstacles. This is Chelsea, a scientist who, like Xeno and Stanley, was petrified during the global event. Unlike the others, she ended up isolated from the main group. Without her glasses, she accidentally wandered in the opposite direction and found herself alone in the jungle.

Despite the odds, Chelsea managed to survive all these years in the wilderness. Senku’s team eventually discovers her, and she quickly proves her worth. Not only does she offer practical advice, but she also suggests a unique form of travel, a motorcycle. While the idea sounds outrageous at first, it sparks inspiration in Senku. And with both Senku and Xeno working together, even the most ambitious inventions suddenly seem possible.

To create bikes, Senku will now need rubber, and that is something that they can get near the sea in Panama. However, if they stop midway to extract rubber, Stanley will definitely catch them, and that will not end well for them. Thus, everyone comes up with a plan to create a separate group that will head towards the Panama Canal as a decoy, and the main group will go to secure rubber. But who will be sacrificed like this, because anyone who comes in contact with Stanley is bound to die.

After this, Senku and his team finally locate rubber trees and start the process of extracting sap from the trees. Here, even Xeno helps out because he is not someone who can lie when it comes to science. From the beginning of his capture, Xeno has not acted as a normal captive and has willingly helped Senku in his journey. This is also because Xeno himself is a very curious man who wishes to unravel the mystery behind the certification.

When the crew finally lands in their designated place in South America, they do not have much time before Stanley apprehends them. Hence, without caring about the ship anymore, they all rip it apart and start constructing their bikes as soon as possible. But their doom finally comes in the form of Stanley, and he and his crew come to the fight with guns blazing and without caring about anyone other than Xeno.

I loved this episode as it started off goofy but ended on a high note. Senku is a lot closer to the discovery of truth, and I can not wait to find out what really happened. Stanley is also in the scene, and he will not stop until he gets his hands on Xeno. The next episode is definitely going to be an interesting one.
