Dr Romantic season 3 episode 9 brings disaster scenes that break our hearts along with gratitude for all healthcare workers out there. Directed by Yoo In-shik, the Kdrama stars Han Seok-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Joo-heon, So Ju-yeon, and Jin Kyung, alongside other cast members.
The new season brings the grand opening of Doldam Trauma Centre but with new challenges as Kim Sa-bu and his team face them in their professional and personal lives. As the scale of incidents and accidents that the hospital has to manage, the team has to provide top-quality care for their patients.
Episode 9 brought us another moment filled with gratitude for healthcare workers who are always out there when the situation calls for it. This episode brought to us the devastating situations that have to be faced by doctors in disaster scenes and the brutal choices that they have to make in order to save as many as they can.
This gratitude was brought out to the peak with the wonderful cast who made sure to bring out the best of their characters. Han Seok-kyu brings out the worry of Kim Sa-bu whose emotions for his students are more like a father. His cool-headedness in some situations and the way it contrasts with his frustration, worry and pain is commendable.
Lee Sung-kyung has won our hearts today with the way she so wonderfully brought out Cha Eun-jae’s emotions as she worries for Woo-jin but chooses to fulfil her duty at the moment. Her heartbreaking narration only added to this feeling and we are still reliving those moments.

On the other hand, netizens once again worry for Woo-jin who has gotten himself in trouble again. And while this is a serious situation, Dong-hwa has become the most relatable as he turns into a meme to show our frustration towards Woo-jin.
However, this doesn’t stop people from swooning over Ahn Hyo-seop who once again brought out the best of his skills and made us feel the conflicting emotions of Seo Woo-jin.
