While at the hospital, Eun-jae and the others look at the snow covering the area during spring. She later calls Woo-jin and asks him to drop by the hospital during his day off. Right then a man dashes into Woo-jin who notices that he is injured. Woo-jin tries to help him but the man is in a hurry and tries to leave, only to faint.

Meanwhile, the phone at the ER rings indicating an emergency. Nurse Oh tells Eun-jae and In-soo that there has been an open fire in a nearby military base. Gunshot wounds are hard to deal with so Nurse Oh requests Jin-man to have Sa-bu handle the case. While he is against it, Jin-man has no choice but to agree.

Back at the hospital, Woo-jin begins to treat the man he brought back to the hospital. Right then he gets a call from Sa-bu and he rushes to the trauma centre. On the other hand, In-soo is unaware of the backup help that’s on its way and is faced with the trauma from some time back when four patients arrive.

Sa-bu arrives to see this and gives instructions to the others which brings In-soo out of his daze. The doctors soon begin treating the patients while Sa-bu asks someone to call Jin-man, unaware that the man is looking down at the events. Jin-man is aware that Sa-bu has another reason to have him brought to Doldam and is curious as to what it is.

Right then he sees an instrument slip out of Sa-bu’s hand and wonders if he is losing his touch. Back at the hospital, another patient arrives who seems to recognise Eun-tak. He then calls for his fellow mates and Eun-tak is left stunned as his past appears in front of his eyes.

At the trauma centre, Sa-bu notices the busy In-soo and asks about Ho-joon only to find out that he is out and stuck in traffic. He then meets Jin-man and gives the surgery plan for the patients when Jin-man questions his condition and the reason why he got Jin-man to come himself.

Sa-bu does not answer his questions and wonders if he caught onto something. Jin-man then goes to look over his patient and diverts to Eun-jae. He then begins questioning her and gives his suggestion for the same. Eun-jae stops what she is doing and chooses to follow his instructions while Woo-jin notices this and tells her to do what she thinks is right. Eun-jae is adamant about following her father’s advice and stops the procedure.

Meanwhile, Moon-jung assigns Sun-woong to conduct surgery under his supervision on a patient whose blood vessel needs to be fixed. Sun-woong is nervous and has an issue with his sight that he tells Moon-jung about before the surgery. On the other hand, Do-il notices the excess military security around the hospital and is curious why there are so many armed men around.

He tells Sa-bu about this and the two get a hint that there are bigger problems to come. Back at the hospital, Eun-tak is provoked by the man from his past and almost begins a fight when Woo-jin arrives to stop him. He tells Eun-tak to prepare for surgery and asks Mr Koo to keep an eye on the people who provoked Eun-tak.

Elsewhere, Min-guk is also stuck in traffic and calls Ho-joon to get updates about the situation at the hospital, only to see the man he called in his car next to him. At the trauma centre, the surgeries begin. Woo-jin begins the surgery without Eun-tak who failed to arrive on time while Sun-woong and Moon-jung begin the procedure as well.

Dr Romantic Season 3 Episode 7 Review

Another day at the trauma centre and another trauma makes its way to our Doldam team. However, it seems that this episode won’t be the end of the traumatic journey as an even bigger pain awaits us tomorrow. While we hope that nothing happens to the ace surgeon Woo-jin, let’s come back to this episode.

Episode 7 brought out a flaw of Eun-jae’s that is something that needs to be avoided, doubting yourself. Be it a doctor or anyone else, when you begin to doubt yourself and let someone else make the decision for you is when things are bound to go downhill.

On the other hand, Eun-tak too is in the middle of facing a trauma from the past and it looks like the road ahead of him is not going to be easy, at least not for some time. Altogether, episode 7 has been another intriguing turn of events and looks like it is also paving the way for Sa-bu’s big surprise at the end of this season.

For now, we can only connect his actions of trying to get Jin-man into the team to have something to do with a big event that is soon to happen. But let’s hope that what we think is not true because he is a character we hope to see for a long long time.
