A new Korean Drama from JTBC is here, and the fans have spoken in the Doctor Cha Episode 11 Twitter reactions. Also known as 닥터 차정숙, this series stars Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, Min Wook-hyuk, Myung Se-bin, Song Ji-ho, Jo A-ram, Baek Joo-hee, Park Jun-Keum, Kim Mi-kyung, Lee Seo-yoon, So A-rin, Park Chul-min, Kimg Byung-choon, Lim Hyoung-soo and Kim Yea-eun, alongside other cast members.
This Korean Drama series is directed by Kim Dae-Jin and written by Jung Yeo-Rang. This show shows the protagonist making a drastic lifestyle choice. After putting a pause on her medical resident career to become a homemaker, Cha Jeong-suk decides to start her training all over again when her husband, In-ho, a chief surgeon at the university hospital, cheats on her.
Y’all, this episode. The chaos was just too much. Let’s look at this episode in terms of the conflicts. We start off with a big conversation between Seung-hi, In-ho and Jeong-suk. The three of them talk about how to navigate this affair and their revealed marriage with people in the hospital. Since Jeong-suk has been wronged the most throughout all of this, she asks Seung-hi to leave the hospital so she can complete her residency in peace.
After this big fight, we have a fight between Seung-hi and her daughter, who explains that she won’t be able to apply to her desired colleges because of the wrist fracture and all Seung-hi can do is listen to her complaints because there is no way she can do anything about it. We then cut to In-ho, who is sitting in front of his family, having a difficult conversation about what to do with this big decision, whether to leave Jung-suk or leave Seung-hi.
However, he is so confused, he isn’t able to come up with a decision any time soon. He doesn’t want to get divorced, but he also cannot stop thinking about Seung-hi. On the other hand, Seung-hi is extremely clear. She wants In-ho all to herself. Jeong-suk has to get divorced from him. She needs to leave him. Seung-hi and Jeong-suk talk about whose fault this is in the first place. Seung-hi argues that she is also a victim and should be treated as such.
All Jeong-suk is saying is that now that Seung-hi realises the extent of the consequences, she is feeling bad. She goes back to bed, and the next conflict is actually an external situation which is the fire that really sparks a new hate between In-ho and Roy Kim. They have started to bicker like children and use Jeong-suk as some kind of bargaining chip even though she has made no choice or decision. Even though they always fight about the budget or something, it is clear that Jeong-suk is the underlying conflict here.
However, fans are incredibly happy to see Jeong-suk just take control of her situation and lose her mind as In-ho’s idiocy. Moreover, they are happy to see In-ho get treated the way he deserves. After all the pain he has put all the characters through, and after all his ridiculous opinions about love, no one is ready to give him any kind of respect. Even though the fighting is so stupid, fans are ready to admit that the conflict is hilarious.
There are many scenes where In-ho is the absolute worst, but because Kim Byung-chul is such a great comedic actor, sometimes it is hard to see this cheater in that light. The man is so unserious. He is ready to be the talk of the town in the worst way possible. It is also evident that Jeong-suk has a great support system, and the viewers have picked up on that. They are so happy to see something like this represented on the big screen.
